New guy here. Been lurking for awhile and checking out STG. Now, I know putting down a deposit is a definite no on STG but what about on Tryst? Seems like every profile requires a deposit on there. Does anyone use Tryst for dreams? Understandably, Tryst is a classier place but is lower risk? TIA.

While I am careful only to use well-reviewed providers, there are plenty of scams on high end sites. A deposit is highly likely to be a scam, wherever it lives.

Don't care what site they are on I never pay a deposit. They need our money an to many out there to take a chance on loosing money.
I had a well reviewed provider here tell me she charged a deposit for first time visitors. I said no deposit have a good day. Got a reply Back half hour later what time I wanted. Already made other arrangements. Stick wit no Deposit you will be ahead.

Its just another site. The women on Tryst have all been on STG or backpage if their old enough for those days. It is still a ho site. I wouldn't send a deposit because, yeah, there are scammers. But, one woman I wanted to meet off of there overslept and missed our date time. I know she wouldn't have given my money back if I had paid her the night before. And, she wouldve not remembered by the time we found a time to meet up in the future.
