First, you know how easy it is to register for this site. Any LEO who wanted a quick bust at the end of the month could simply ask about someone, get great info about the services and then bust the provider. What is to say that he (they) wouldn't do it again next month with a new I'd... Trust is earned.
2) The second (and I believe) and most important is that the VAST majority of the new members don't bother to do any research before asking the question here. The seniors really do want the new guys to be successful and enjoy the hobby, (which is why they post. To share their experiences), but if new guys don't bother to do the research then they really do deserve to have some bad experiences, just like us. It seems it's so much easier for some newbies (regulars also) to ask questions and never even bother to read the posts in the forums. And more often than not that info is right there in full view. I'm far from being a computer whiz by any means but using my two hand typing I usually am able to find the information that I seek.

Both are excellent destinations! My alternate plan when I feel the same "frustration" is to hit RS or GBH in Madison.
