There's a little CL provider that I've been seeing for some time. Very private. But just discovered some information I wasn't aware of.
She's mainly around Pikesville but also operates out of dundalk at times.
Would be interesting to share information for safeties sake.

I responded to a CL add posted in the Baltimore forum for an college-age woman; we texted, she sent pictures, I sent pictures. Then a few days later, her "dad" texts me and threatens to call the cops, and in the end looked to be attempting to shake me down for money to "fix their computer". I used an app to make the call with a non-attributed phone number, so the phone number itself won't google back to me, but the whole event has me shaken a bit. Stupid to send pictures, but the whole extortion part is troubling. She was pushy to meet at first, asking for an address to drive to immediately. Her pushiness tipped off my antenna, so I backed away. Then a few days later, "dad" drops the text bomb. The number he / she used is a South Carolina number: 803-5 xx-xxxx She went by "Ashley".
Going to take a break from trolling CL for awhile.

You don't actually have to report him, but the threat should be enough to make him drop you as a target and move on.

When looking through CL ads, especially CE posts, it's pretty easy to spot the spam or phony ads or whatever. What I am curious about though are the ads that are so obviously fake but have text for other ads below the text you originally clicked for. WTF? Anybody know why these sore thumbs stick out the way they do? Could anybody be fooled clicking on a MILF post and seeing underneath it a ton of BS about all kinds of other BS? I mean they look like a scam or a phony right off the bat, don't they?
And they other big give away is a post that has only a little bit of text but scrolls down forever with blank space.
I can see why someone might be taken in by a really good scam / spam post but those are soooo obvious I just can't figure it out.
Just curious if any long time CL users have any idea why these ads look so bad.
I miss the days before phone verification. CL seemed much livelier then.
Not only does there seem to be any real ads from women mine got spam back in a way they never had before, hundreds of spam 4 real contacts, WTF?
