Keep the conversation going for a few days or a few weeks. Stings are huge operations, they require lots of cops and they can't pull them together just because you text again the next day. Similarly, if you see a girl posting every day for three weeks, it's not a sting. It's a girl. Cops can't afford to have the whole vice team out 7 days / week for weeks at a time.
Your biggest threat (IMHO) is not the cops, it's the thugs. (Similar to cops, but different uniforms.)
Leave your shit in the car. Everything but the money and the car key.
Park somewhere else. If you are going to room 112 at the Best Western, don't pull up in front of room 112, park at the Chevron around the corner and hike in. Don't make it obvious where you're going. Take the long way. (Basically, if you end up getting rolled for your car key and your cash, give them a challenge in finding your car, don't just give it to them.)
When you get to the room, ask if you can use the restroom. You basically just want to see if anyone is in there. Look behind the shower curtain.
When you get back, the girl is usually on the bed. As you make your way to the bed, throw the security lock on the door so no one can come in. If the girl gives you any shit about it, pick up and leave. Do this before the money changes hands.
