Well, after nearly a three week hiatus, Glockman managed to sneak back into the Country under the cover of night. For the past three weeks, I have been on a photo trip exploring several islands in the Pacific 600 miles off the coast of South America. Although the islands are teeming with wildlife, they are for the most part uninhabited by humans. Mongering among natives was, therefore, impossible. I did take over 4000 photos, but mostly of things with feathers, scales or with four legs. But it was a remarkable, once in a lifetime experience. I spent nearly three weeks on a yacht with 18 other photographers. One lady did take a shine to the old Glockster and she especially admired my seven pound super telephoto. I told her that size wasn't everything, but how you use it is more important! Below is an example of what you might talk a photographer companion into if you have enough Glockman charm. I hope to get up soon, to Memphis that is. It will depend on how many fires I have to put out at work. I have saved up a lot of DNA, but haven't decided yet what lucky lady or ladies will have the honor of swallowing it.
