Okay guys, I now get why.
Finally had a chance to pay some attention to her. Very nice personality, her English is 50/50 (Portuguese is her native language). Not super skinny, but not fat. Checked out Miss Kitty's, I had never been in there before and it was OK but I got no extra vibe there at all.
Finally ended up at Wise Guys. I try to get a bargain down the street so I haven't ever been in there. It was about an hour before close so I got a tall blonde dancer (I'm terrible with names) who started talking to me. She was cute, really blond and better than most WP dancers I've seen. Got a few songs from her, tried a few songs from another then found out I was short for a VIP but not really enough time. I think I will try Wise Guys first next time instead of wasting my money at the other places. Price might be steep but the quality is top notch.

I just tell them I just got there and want to relax a bit etc. They usually get the hint, though sometimes it has to be a firm hint and will leave you alone then.

They don't want to give you the chance of finding out knowing that you'll find the others much more appealing. They all compete with each other and some are just plain overbearing. I take that type of hard sell as a sign that there must be someone really good there. Brush them aside and wait. You'll know soon enough. I'm sure they won't refuse you if decide to re-visit later.

The competition can be pretty high and some of the girls can be pretty desperate at times. Generally I try to get through at least one drink if not two, and do some stage tipping before making any decisions on going behind the beads. I check out who is on the board and try to figure out the stage rotation, if anyone is actually going to stage, and just try to get a look at them all if possible. Of course, there are also times when I'll be in a hurry and see a girl I'm experienced with and grab her for a drink and rub at a table before quickly retiring behind the beads for fun.

Dollies. No change from what's currently posted. It's likegoing to place that has used clothes, you're just looking for the ones who has the least amount of wear and tear but still gives you the best bang for your buck. Well, a lot readers go there excited, but like me, when you get there, you say to yourself WTF, this not what the brochure said. At least the bar staff is good to talk to and the antics of the girls are a good show sometimes. This place is for men who can truly lower there standards / expectations and are working on budget. Consider it the Goodwill of strip clubs, its been here for years and it helps people out in a pinch. Drinks are fairly cheap also.
C-Mowes -See Dollies info and lower your expectations even further. This is where you go when you just don't give a damn and want roll the dice, snake eyes are almost a guarantee. It's like a box of chocolates for you and the owner, just never know who will show up, it's a lock that she's either not attractive or is addicted to something. There is the lottery ticket chance of someone decent there for a day, but good luck with that and be ready to play again. Again, cheap drinks are there.
Blondies. A slight upgrade, and the strong possibility of finding someone with whom you can have a conversation with and not lie about ever doing anything with them. There are some possibilities and the variety is nice. Coming at the right time is the key. Some mongers get there and just hog the good ones buying drinks and tipping. So, while you're waiting, chunky and ugly are coming around you and the door is the better option. I will say this as fair warning, DO NOT LOOK AT THE GIRLS IN THE DAYLIGHT. The makeup and dark lighting really helps to keep things where you want them. Cheap drinks helps get the goggles on quickly here too.
WiseGuys. Some lookers on dayshift, nice social media presence, and if you're not acquainted with Lexi, you're shorting yourself. One thing about this club is its all about the benjamins and lincolns. If you are not spending money, don't bother going. First hit to the wallet, your drink and door fee. Whatever you buy is at least $10, now add a ladies drink to that and you could have got drink goggles at Dollies and Blondies for that amount. As for the ladies, there are spinners, ones with nice bodies, to nice and thick, and of course: Lexi just gave you job, but you're not making any money unless the customer is blind and can't feel your fat. Yes, I'm the guy who laugh when I see big women in high heels and lingerie, so not sexy to me, but YMMV. So if you do pick a nice one and buy that expensive drink (s), next is the possibility of having a private with her. During the discussion, don't do a spit take when she tells a trip for a 15 minute (you're lucky for those say they get longer) private is the price of hotel room with a better looking escort for an hour. One room with a couch that is begging to be thrown away or room where the only thing missing is a TV, because there's a chair and a foot stool in there. I can only imagine what would be found if they swabbed those rooms. All this for the low price of $50, right? Of course you're ok with that because she's so hot and your idiot dick don't give damn. Oh, but in addition to that break out the benjamins because not only she has to make some coin, but she has to tip the club, security and the bartender, don't worry that cost is picked up by you and your idiot loins. You really have to have some negotiation skills if you want to play here. The amounts that the girls have told me guys have paid is ridiculous. It's a good place to have fun with the girls if you have time, money to spend and not a germ-a-phobe. Because your naked ass is where every other monger reading this has been if she doesn't have a blanket. Which is even worse because your ass is on the blanket with every other monger who been on it, LOL. If you don't have money, they will chill you out pretty quickly to get to the guy who is spending money.
Larry Flynts. The landscape of ladies has changed tremendously. Fair to average now, with one or two take out if you have the patience to keep coming back and hearing their story enough. The movie theaters in the back is more popular than the club sometimes. I'll go there and the lot is full, but no one is in the club their all in the theaters. What goes on in the the theaters you say? From what I've seen guys who like to whack it in a booth instead of home where there's free porn if you have internet. Guys just creeping around and going the the booths with other guys I guess. Sometimes you catch the occasional couple putting on a show in the "movie theaters" until the voyeurs gets to creepy and close. You will see cross dressers that look like Mrs Doubtfire in there. It's not my thing, but would be fun if you bring a chick in the couple booths.
Scarlett's. They did a great job on upgrading the club and have attracted some girls from Larry Flynt's down there. Dance prices are structured differently so that you're better off buy a package deal. So don't expect to go in there and get one or two dances. It's structured for the girls, so use your time wisely and pick the right one that will let the hands roam as much as possible. There are some lookers in there and YMMV with extras depending on who's working and how much you are paying. No charge for entry during daylight hours, but again be prepared to dole out the cash.
So no specific reviews on anyone in particular in this post. I currently have one of the girls that works in one of the clubs I mentioned being a UTR for me right now and its working out great. Don't ask, I ain't telling, how do you say it, I'm dreaming it along with this review. So get your butt up go to the club and post a better review.
