Trashman memorial Roundtable
Saturday nite in Balmer. It is so Trashesque. LL's memorial started 24 hours earlier, when he befriended a young lady whom had a long friendship with the Trashman starting a decade ago when she was a dancer in the Baltimore Burbs. She was taken aback by news of his passing, since she had left Balmer six years ago. The extended conversation put LL into the proper frame of mind.
LL arrived late, and missed the first two bars the crew had researched. The crew? Dr M, BSR, Robie, Cloudy, Smilin and LL. A venerable group--so much credibility, so many tastes. Amazing. The group separated and re-merged no less than four times in the two hours we bar hopped, ate, and swapped tales of woe...
LL had previously asked a master of the Baltimore street for a personal tour de track. Robie obliged and when we had said goodbyes to our boardmates, Robie and LL climbed into the Robo monger mobile. Being two guys in one car, we never actually planned to find a date. Then Robie noted Leah, a blondish brown hair WSW who is clean, attractive and apparently drug free. Kudos to Robie, to hear him talk and post, you would never think he had acutally dated an attractive, pleasant woman. Since he knew her, and she him, the two guys in a car thing went out the window.
We proceeded to a lovley parking spot the miester had located on Google Earth. Amazing. LL opted for the BBBJTCCIM--20¢... Good mechanic, clean, and very plesant. Robie had taken a walk and when LL was depleated, asked for his turn... He chose the 40¢ ½&½ option. LL was napping on the front part of the car, rocked to sleep by Robie pounding away.
Food, drive hhome and time to sleep, right after I write the post. Apologize if LL has a challenge getting this posted due to his travel sched.
