WTF - Is this English Lit Class or a Bulletin Board
Sometimes many shots are fired in the name of revolution, what starts as civil disobedience ends in a violent eruption, often at places with pastoral names, such as ------Commons or ------Green or ------Square. Without realizing there was an impending anniversary, I decided to visit such a spot, not wishing to be doomed to repeat history but hoping for a conciliatory reunion, knowing that on the very site I was reclined, the police state,in which it is located, once attacked and swarmed what I am sure was once Paradise. I purchased my entry into this infamously named respite and after having to wait a few minutes for my tour guide to finish with another weary traveler, and after wishing I had paid so much more attention in language classes, my tour began. Expectations were high, my attractive, not young, but firmly built guide had a way about her that was not overly firm, but which sent an absolute jolt of electricity down my spine, creating a truly stimulating sensation repeatedly. It may have just been the excitement or expectation playing mind tricks, but even though there was no overt actions taken it was truly a wonderful and exhilarating feeling being there even if my repeated inability to understand the language created a comic confusion. I was so moved by my experience that I requested, no I nigh on begged to fire off a shot or two in honor of all that came before. But alas I was rebuked, the guide not even moved by the offer of an honorarium, and again the language fails me, I thought because maybe I was gui lao, but it kept sounding like I needed to be ray gu rah if I were to get a shot off. So I prepared to leave, feeling better for having made the excursion, but somehow not satisfied with the entire trip. On my way out of the area I was stopped by what I first thought was a panhandler but on closer inspection it was my guide, hoping to get a donation to help keep this site operating. I tried, again as best I could, using my poor language skills complimented with universal sign language, of the procedure required to obtain donations. I am at best a weak man, the comic crocodile tears and sweet demeanor, convinced me to at least leave something for all of the effort given, hopeful that someday if I tried hard enough I could reach the exalted level of ray gu rah that I aspired to be.
OK, I love the poetry of Buster's posts as much as the next guy, but come on..are we all gonna have to post like this from now on.
I'm working on my To Be or Not to Be solilocquy (sp?) right now.
No Worries... no worries...
All is good.
Visited my usual for the basics.
Although there is a big juicy post just pounding to get out,
I will, instead, submit to the soul of wit and simplicity.
Best. Ever.
That girl is fantastic when she puts her mind to it. I love her start to finish smile. When she took the reigns I did all I could just to hold onto the guard rails.
A real treasure - an artist with a delightful embrace.
A mature passionate symphony.
Those who have not met this side of her... give of yourself.
