I listen to screwed music. I don't really like it chopped but I screw my own stuff and test it out while I'm driving to see if I like it or not. I've found some songs that I can't even listen to unless it is screwed this way. Top of my head the only thing I can think of is TI's "Let's Get Away".
Hit me on the pm if you want some of the mixes and I will upload them for you or something.
So I'm going to reveal how "square" I am but... what is "screwed" music? or "chopped", for that matter? :)

There's really not much reason to learn the lingo, those particular "artists" will be forgotten by everyone by this time next year...

2nd...it's not particular "artists" as much as a technique applied to music. I've even seen rock albums screwed.
3rd...please research and review before you dis. Or at least ask so you can know what you are talking about!
4th...LOL!!!

Screwed implies taking the regular tempo of a song and slowing it down enough to give the music a dragging effect. It's the reverse of what they do to create the Chipmunks. LOL! When it's done right it can turn a song into something pretty incredible. You can hear the instruments better, understand the lyrics better and it gives the music a surreal feel to it. It's easier to digest if you actually find music that you like and would hear a different way.
I've seen everything from rap to r&b to rock...hell I saw a dude screw a country song before. I don't like much country but the way he did it turned an upbeat country song into almost a r&b song.
Chopping is a technique that varies. It could be summed up as beat juggling or scratching the record for the uncool. Basically you take a particular sound or instrument and everytime you get to that element of the song you repeat it in time with the record without losing the beat. It's a little more complex than that but...
Here's an example. Not my personal favorite mix but a good example

Marietta
Staying in Marietta, does anyone know of any places for SW in Marietta area?

I don't consider your comments a lesson to me. I don't remember KRS-One, Kurtis Blow or Biz Markie using terms like "screwed." Hip-hop started in DJ parties and LIVE performances (not in studios) and "techniques" were therefore not important.
I was listening to rap back when you had to drive to New York to dub cassettes, since rap had yet to hit mainstream radio and there were ZERO artists in the South.
Anyway, the point is that hip hop fans have become very fickle nowadays. Artists have no staying power any more. Guys like Cannabis and Ja Rule were all the rage a few short years ago but even their own mothers wouldn't touch their album now...

Dill ave
Saw two SW on Dill Ave tonight, both were right there at the intersection with Metro.
One was an older WSW who looked pretty serviceable, maybe a 6 on the SW scale. By the time I looped back she was gone.
The other was a BSW and I couldn't get a clear view, but she did look fairly young.
Didn't see anything else on Metro in the other areas off Cleveland and by the Gold Rush. Also toured the Lakewood/Polar Rock and Jonesboro Rd. areas and there was nothing to be found, not even any of the usual zombies.

Fib
...and also drove down FIB as well, but nothing worthwhile was happening (10pm). Saw too much LE out in front of the TL, so I did not drive back down that side road. Saw a few likely BSW in the parking lots of those ratty hotels on Wendell, but did not move closer to investigate.
Saw one tall, older WSW at the corner of the back street behind Babes, she had just walked all the way over from the Citgo on the other side of FIB. However, she picked a spot right out in the open and didn't want to pickup right there and kept moving. She was nothing too special anyway, maybe a 4 on the SW scale.
Also, I'm not seeing much of anything on the North side of I-20 any more and that's a damn shame. I long for the old days of the Summit, when you could pay the Paki hotel guy $5 for a "guest fee" and go roaming around the halls that were sometimes filled with providers...

SW in Marietta
Staying in Marietta, does anyone know of any places for SW in Marietta area?
Start on Franklin Rd some on Delk Rd to.There isn't a great amount of SW there and you also gotta be careful cause theres alot of TS especially Mexican one.So make sure its a man I was almost caught out in that water once lol.

Your comments about it did indicate that you didn't know what chopped and screwed was. Sounded like a lesson to me.

South Cobb drive around Austell Road and Austell Road at Atlanta Road (Chevron). If you feel brave you can go to Old Concord Road and Pat mell Road. Alot of WSW and BSW when it is not too cold out. Drive up and down Old Concord paying special attention to the side streets and shadows.
Six Flags Drive and I20 down is South Cobb County, South Cobb Drive at I285 (Microtel, Sunsuites, American xtended Stay), Also the Pilot truck station (Atlanta Road at I-285). Theres lot lizards if you sit & watch.
South Cobb Drive near Booth Road (Chevron) and Cumberland Lodge on South Cobb Before Pearl Street.
Beware! Cobb County's VICE Unit drives around these areas alot and they are good. They sit & watch and count how many times you drive by. They will pull you out of your car and give you hell along with 3 or 4 tickets to boot. You will never see them coming because they totally do not look like cops and blend in well. They also drive cars that totally look like pieces of Sh*T!

I don't consider this a lesson to me either. Perhaps you should take this to the general forum. I sir know my hip-hop. You made a critique on a technique used in hip-hop not the art form. Hell you can "screw" a Kurtis Blow record if that makes you feel any better!
