I appreciate the report and find it informative. I can understand a provider taking the quick off the table but the hh? Some of us have no use for a hour. It's not value. True, it is up to her but if she visits here again she has possibly lost a repeat customer. Along with possible others like me who get a sense that maybe she has a little bit of GPS. Since it's political season, I've been doing a little thinking. I began to wonder what what if we began to treat our hobby as if it were a campaign. We could run attack ads, build coalitions, and lobby for more favorable circumstances.

Attack ads would force providers to cater to our demands. For instance, we could identify a particular provider (s) that has provided sub par service and post continuous ads that highlight their deficiencies. This would have a beneficial affect for two reasons. First, a provider would be forced to respond to the allegations. This response could be in the form of going out and meeting the "citizens" and providing "handshakes" to show that they are not what the attack ads have portrayed them to be. Second, it would force those unwilling to meet certain standards out of the race. Either way the "citizens" would receive a favorable result.

Forming a coalition will lead to better service and reasonable rates. Currently, this board is the closest thing I am aware of that advocates on our behalf. This board allows its participants to voice their concerns regarding a particular provider, but it also provides the participants with a general idea of the going rate for a particular provider. We could change the latter in our favor if we built a coalition and lobbied for more favorable circumstances. Currently, it seems as if the end-user (hobbyists) have lost control over the market. However, this should not be the case. In fact, we (hobbyist's) should actually dictate the rate for services that are being offered in the market. We could easily accomplish this, I believe, by organizing or forming a coalition to advocate for rates that are favorable to us (hobbyist's) instead of agreeing to rates that are favorable to the provider. If as a collective force we decided to only agree to a rate of say 80 $ for one hour, the market would soon be forced to accommodate to the needs of the market or be forced into another industry.

In short, this post may be considered a rant. But, if taken seriously, it could definitely change the environment in which we all deal on a daily basis. Without a doubt, by applying the above mentioned methods, providers would be become more accountable for their actions, and we would also have an increased opportunity to partake in extra-curricular activities if we advocated for lower rates. Taking ten or fifteen minutes here, do a google or tineye search if you can. This goes a long way to making you feel more comfortable when on the way. I like to feel that I have at least a 95% chance of seeing who I am expecting when the door opens. Send a PM, do all you can to find out, check posts of those you feel have similar tastes, activity, body and age wise.
