I pretty much sure majority of you had a better night then I did last night. Started off at Mistys, figured I'd get to the bottom of this whole Lina / Mina / Nina crap. Slow as hell, Susan at the entrance; said Hi to her but didn't say anything. Sat at the bar majority of the time I was in there. Nina (viet. Lady, shitty english, late 50's,sits out front sometimes and tells people "take me home Waikiki" busy in the booths. Also saw Vanessa, who was busy too and Candy. There was one oldie who had on some kind of leopard print outfit who was sitting at the bar. Her and another guy was making lame comments about the movie Eyes without a face (Georges Franju). I was getting irritated by them so I left. Made my way over to Secret, which was busy for a change. It was SRO so I was SOL. Wasn't about to sit in one of the booths or stand around like a dumbass, so I left. I saw Kim (Cache, Club Sun) standing by the booth by the entrance. Finished off by checking out Red Orchid, Fucken DEAD! Total of about 9 people in there. Only 2 dancers (Heidi and Shasha) working. Rest I was told had other plans. Heidi came and made small talk and asked for GLD. Was immediately put off by her haggard looks and stink ass smokers breath. So told her I was only tipping tonight. Said she already was up there about 5 times and that she was ready to go home. Shasha was the only one who was making $. Sat with her OHLVBs and made some pretty good moola. What is it with her and these old haole guys? Called it a night and left. Damn, I suck!

I overheard landlords were not extended leases past 2015. The Kona Street area of Kakaako is one of the last to be redeveloped. This area has been a focus of politicians back to 1976 and slowly the area has be redeveloped. They are currently building luxury condos nearby priced at 1 mil to 20 mil. So you would think that land is more valuable being leased or sold for development. And what millionares would want to live near a seedy area? The businesses in the Ala Moana Business Tower were told to move out by 2018. These are doctors offices and other businesses. That building is to be either remodeled (housing?) or torn down. I would think the businesses that want to survive will just need to move.
