Sometimes it seems the tail is wagging the dog and that is not how business works in my mind. As long as I am verifiable, have a few good references I see no need to ever send a full name, address, business contact, etc to a Provider.

When you send that picture, you have completely lost control of where that goes and it is out there forever. Same goes for these ladies that ask you to send them an email for first contact. Same thing for these "UTR" girls that some of you guys have that you say "send me an email or your email address and I will send you her number". I know you are trying to protect these girls and that is about the only thing you can do. I get that part of it. I do not get why you guys think that is any safer. You still do not really know who the person is on the other end of that email, whether you are sending or receiving the email. I bet 90% of you guys are worried about identity theft but then you will send an anonymous person and email with your picture. If you some of you Hi tech guys know how to do that safely, please let the rest of us know how.

If you know how to do it you CAN protect yourself to a certain extent. But its all about paying attention. If something seems off, END IT ASAP! The hairs on the back of your neck stand up for a reason. Listen to them.
