I agree 100%. I made that mistake one time and one time only. I'm not paying a girl to have dinner with me or grab a drink. Also, what is it with these girls wanting an online arrangement. I had one who wanted money for platonic meets. I declined with a polite "we have different goals. " A couple of weeks later she contacted me and asked if I was still interested. I told her my goals haven't changed, intimacy must be part of the arrangement. She said ok, let's give this a try and see where it goes. Lesson: Be nice. Sometimes they come back. Also, as mentioned on many of these boards, these girls talk with each other. A polite "no thanks" will get you better mileage with the next girl if she checks on you.

I used to think like that too and it's a logical train of thought. First a couple of questions, have you hit it yet? If so please elaborate on the experience in detail. If not, then you haven't proven your point yet. Second, many members have declined the platonic invite and then been reported to SA by these girls for soliciting (they are usually the sensitive type,) and had their membership deleted.

I play the odds on these things. My guess is a platonic girl conversion rate is prob going to be 10% or less w so much hassle. If you are having a different experience then please share about it in detail so we can all benefit from what you have learned. IMHO, SA would be better for all of us if we just blocked all of the platonic, online and advanced payment girls so they get the message that this isn't the place for that nonsense. This would leave the girls that we all like who get how an arrangement works rather than trying to get money for nothing.

The girls used it for screening, The 3 I've been with have given me the same story, it gives them an easy out in screening guys who they are not attracted to & don't want to see. Fair enough. She was 24, I'm 62. M / G was at a Mexican restaurant for dinner, margaritas and conversation. No donations. She thought about it for a week, then messaged she would like to meet again. I just finished "30 days in the bowl" (report coming.) and that's exactly what I'm looking for. Plenty of opportunities to get together but as I would put it, no real keepers. Anyone use AirBnB on a regular basis for sugaring? I've thought about it but never really comes to mind when I'm actually going to see someone. I've looked at it before and it seems not all places let you check in remotely w / o meeting someone first. Then alot of places aren't really private as it's only a room in a house. Then I see the opposite scenario where it's a large 3+ bedroom house which is overkill and too expensive.

Just wondering if it's really a good option. I searched and saw a couple posts but didn't seem to be alot of people doing this. Like to hear any feedback, tips, etc. Also, if anyone has recommendation on places to use would be good too especially if it's in the Cobb / Perimeter / Roswell areas.

They all add cleaning fees, etc.). If you see an offering for below that, then it's probably just a single bedroom.

There are a ton of places near the new Braves stadium. Quite a few people bought or rented the new apartments when they went up just to rent out on game days, so no one actually lives there when it's not being rented. I prefer those properties, because it's awkward to be in a bedroom surrounded by someone else's personal belongings.

Was going to say that if they typed in a personalized platonic message in their profile, then I generally agree that they are not worth the trouble when there are other options. However, I didn't always know this and in my early days on SA and sometimes pursued them, and sometimes succeeded.

Case in point. One of my early successes. Very discreet profile, face blocked in photo and hard to tell what her body was like. But she was conveniently located to me, 19,5'2" and listed slim and blonde. Worth a try right? Her profile said she was looking for men 18-29, and something like "if you are looking for sex right away please don't message me. " I am 59 and definitely looking for sex right away. But I didn't know any better at the time, so I messaged her. No answer. Pinged her again a week later. She had had a lot of really fucked up messages and was about to quit the site. Text convo revealed she had some past arrangements. I asked her if she'd be interested in a fwb discrete arrangement and she said she is down! Hell yeah. So far so good. She's taking direction very well via text. Sent some pics. And she is starting to open up.

I love hearing these success stories! It can take a little effort but the payoff can be great. We all have a lot of experiences on SA and as a group have come up with a consensus on "rules" but going against the grain can certainly pay off.
