We must all have a Hard No on advances
I agree completely. Gentleman, we must be together on this one point. Never ever give a girl money upfront. If even one of us does, it leads another 100 chicks to try to get one resulting in so much time wasting. My policy is of they mention any type of advance I block them immediately. If we all start doing that they will get the message.
And BTW, I have been dumb enough to do it in the past and 100% of the time it was a scam, so for you newbies as tempting as it may be just don't do it.
Ok this ends your public service announcement LOL.
$200 for a dinner date? Girl is a 5 looks wise, she is reading some supermodels blog about sugar dating. Yes, a solid 10 can get $200 for a dinner date but not that girl.
Toe the line guys, we don't pay for a meet & greet or platonic dates.
Please don't do online arrqngements, you're just feeding the bears
Yep, agree with Ripper. We. Need to have a hard No on paying for pics, vids etc as well. I never have and never will pay for pics they do nothing for me. However someone is bc I am approached by girls almost daily asking for that nonsense. It's always the same story "Well my friend / rommate found a guy willing to pay for pics / vids. . . . ".
We must nip this in the bud. $ only for FS and nothing else.
I have started a policy of blocking all these type girls. Which I know has an effect. In the world of social media, it does sting a little to them when a guy blocks them since the block is permanent on SA now. I bet if we all did it for just a month or so we could end this nonsense.
Never forget the golden rule: The one with the gold makes the rules.
I have never advanced anyone. Just screams scam or cash and dash. Was chatting with a chick on SA the other day that swore we would meet eventually but wanted to start off sending pics / vids. No siree Bobby. Not going to happen. Found a couple of gems this time around on the site, the shift toward platonic only is growing for sure. Ripper.
Blocking has its drawbacks
I had one who wanted money for platonic meets. I declined with a polite "we have different goals. " A couple of weeks later she contacted me and asked if I was still interested. I told her my goals haven't changed, intimacy must be part of the arrangement. She said ok, let's give this a try and see where it goes. Lesson: Be nice. Sometimes they come back. Also, as mentioned on many of these boards, these girls talk with each other. A polite "no thanks" will get you better mileage with the next girl if she checks on you.

Messages after Going Dormant
I have a couple regulars and would like to take a break from Seeking for a couple of months. I know messages disappear after 180 days even if you're still a paid member. But what about new messages if you go to a free membership for a few months? If I let my paid membership lapse at the end of the month, will my more recent message strings still be around when I start paying again in December or so?
Need a ruling on this one
Fellas,
Messaged this one in my daily carpet bombing of SA and got this response:
"So if you're cool with not having vaginal or anal sex then we can probably work something out.
Completely understand if it's a dealbreaker".
Trans or naw? Not hating or whatever but as Tone Loc said, "Aint got no plans wit a man".

Phrase Turner / Ava Raleigh crazy GPS
Bro that's a hard pass. She has a nice body but she has crazy prices listed on Eros like 500+ which is laughable for her looks and messed up haircut. Can do so much better on SA w a college hottie.
This one is an Eros pro, aka Ava Raleigh (or is someone using her pics). Sounds like her tho.

Re: Blocking them has drawbacks
I used to think like that too and it's a logical train of thought. First a couple of questions, have you hit it yet? If so please elaborate on the experience in detail. If not, then you haven't proven your point yet. Second, many members have declined the platonic invite and then been reported to SA by these girls for soliciting (they are usually the sensitive type,) and had their membership deleted.
I play the odds on these things. My guess is a platonic girl conversion rate is prob going to be 10% or less w so much hassle. If you are having a different experience then please share about it in detail so we can all benefit from what you have learned. IMHO, SA would be better for all of us if we just blocked all of the platonic, online and advanced payment girls so they get the message that this isn't the place for that nonsense. This would leave the girls that we all like who get how an arrangement works rather than trying to get money for nothing.
If you have found a new avenue to access these platonic girls, please share in detail your experience. School will be in session and I will be your first student. Ex: how many dates to get past platonic, did you get to FS? , allowance etc and how long did the arrangement last. I'm asking bc I have tried this numerous times and it's always beem annoying waste for me. In the meantime, I could snag 3-5 straight up SA girls with so much less effort and hassle.
Just my two cents.
Bojack.

More Blocking Them Has Drawbacks
Fair enough. She was 24, I'm 62. M / G was at a Mexican restaurant for dinner, margaritas and conversation. No donations. She thought about it for a week, then messaged she would like to meet again. She didn't specify an amount. I try to make it a memorable experience, chose a 4 star hotel and she stayed the night. I put an envelope in her purse with $$, so my investment in the first meet was dinner, drinks, hotel and the envelope, about 4 $. Steep by most standards, but she is 5/10, athletic, blonde, stacked and good looking to my taste. College grad and the conversation was intelligent.
Those are the things I look for anyway. After the first meet there were 3 more but then she decided to move along. I get a text from her occasionally, but she doesn't seem interested in a repeat and after this much time it would be a little weird. But for me it was memorable and I'm glad I didn't block her.
