I hadn't been to Camden in a month or so. I tried to call Krystal. The number was no good anymore. Tried to call Pita. Mailbox full. Hit the stroll and found Patty for the 1st time since before the wreck that busted her up.
We talked for a few and I was suprised how much different she was and in a good way!

I have seen Melissa before near Walnut and I was very tempted to pick her up. She is a very nice looking SW . I wasn't familiar with her even though she did give me that look to let me know she was a SW. Molissa’s pictures do not do her the proper justice. Sometimes the harshness of the camera’s flash does not capture the truth features of a subject. In person, Molissa is very cute. With the right makeup, a better hair style and in the right lighting - she would be dazzling.
More important, IMHO, she didn’t act like a product of the hood and she spoke the King’s English. Molissa should be in some school, somewhere, studying for an exam and not on the street peddling her ass.

Your "body of work" (pun intended) is [b](1)[/b] a terrific archive of a segment of society that lives out a generally faceless (and all-too-often short) existence and [b](2)[/b] art in one of its purest forms.
When I was a neophyte photographer, before I knew much about the craft, I often had difficulty capturing the "true" essence of a person because of the harsh light that direct flash gives off. Ultimately, I found the solution: Simply add a [b]diffuser[/b] over the front of your flash and this will reduce the specular content of the light without much impact to the quantity of light needed for good lighting (assuming your flash is an "off-camera" type, that is). If the flash is the built-in variety, you might still be able to find a suitable diffuser at a local photo store. Higher-end cameras will, of course, allow you to adjust the light & photo after the fact. Barring any other solution, though, you can just get a piece of translucent plastic film and place that over your flash to achieve the same effect.

I went out last night and cruised Broadway all the way to Morgan Blvd and saw so many LE and State Police on the scene around 11pm. I really didn't see any worthwhile SW's out there. It has been like this past couple of nights . I wonder how long LE will keep this up.

There is money out on those streets and its LE's job to get it. Otherwise they will be laid off too.
Word to the not so wise, save all you receipts from parking tickets up (especially restoration receipts). As of late there are a whole lot of data entry mistakes when it comes to "setting the record straight". I have been victim to 4 of these errors over the past 2 mos between dmv and the local courts.
Oh plus elections are coming up Nov 3.

Thanks for the info, I saw at least 3 motorist pulled over last night by the State LE. By my observation last night, I think they were more LE than there were pedestrians. What a waste of government money going after people for a victimless crime.

There are also a number of good over the lens diffusers that work well. I use an adjustable over the lens diffuser when shooting outside in bright sunlight. Mine is a cheap non-adjustable off the camera flash. There are some reasonable adjustable flashes that can be used to bounce light. I may invest in one. Bouncing the light off of a white ceiling or wall makes for a nice soft effect. I prefer statuary lighting and umbrella flash diffusers. I like natural lighting, but nature often needs a little help to get the right tones. I learned a long time ago that skin tones and textures are the hardest to capture. Especially with cheap equipment.
For what I am doing right now, this equipment is fine. Later when I’ve more time, I may decide to upgrade things and be a little more artsy.
