Has anyone heard from him since the surgery? I figured we would have had an update by now. I'm not a huge fan of the gatekeeping, but I'd like to know that he's doing ok if anyone has info. Hopefully everything went well.

Benz, if you see this, I hope all is well and that you'll be returning to your previous activities and regular posting soon. And, I know this may seem at the opposite end of the spectrum to some, but I miss G2 also. Very different guys, but each contributed a lot of useful info to this forum (and we always have the option to scroll past what we don't consider useful info). We're all different and I'm sure my posts aren't for everyone either. But both of those guys shared a lot on here, though in very different ways. And at times, I reached out to both of them and got helpful answers to my questions. Hopefully they can both return at some point and for Benz, I'm hopeful that means he's fully recovered. --RJ.

Hi all. I'm not sure if it is just me, or are more providers "requiring" some sort of verification? I've seen some requesting IDs and pictures, and some providers that have websites seem to ask you for everything but your social security number!
Being in my situation there is no way in hell I'm sending anything to a provider that could come back to haunt me or my family or my job. I can't get the vision of being blackmailed out of my head.
However, I get everyone's situation is different, and there are some that may not care. I also get that some providers could have had a bad experience and want to feel some sort of security via screening.
Just wondering, how many of you guys have agreed to a screening, and how much info (you don't need to give detailed examples) did you provide?

For example, you've been seeing Betsie, and would like to check out Gertrude. Well, all you'd need to do is tell Gertrude that you are a good client of Betsie. She then texts the other gal, who says yep that's a good client, and you are in. Very often Betsie and Gertrude do not even know each other.
If you do not have that kind of connection, then you may need to go to some of the stuff you are mentioning. But often there may be less intrusive options.
I agree, sharing personal information is risky. But there are other options.
Oh, and here is an idea for guys who don't yet have a good relationship with a provider. Check out a gal at Panacea, invest in a few visits, be a decent human being. Then ask her to be a reference for you. It works.

" I think it really depends on the provider. Some just want some reassurances and for those, either giving them the name of someone you've seen or possibly even telling them what name you use on the forum here to post reviews is enough. They just want to see that you're not a complete jerk and / or that you're not LE and are really a monger involved in the hobby. If you've reviewed someone they know, they may reach out to that provider. Or, as the previous poster mentioned, they may specifically ask for the name of another provider or two you've seen so they can contact them. One issue I have is that I like variety, so I don't have a "regular" that I see often. However, the longer I'm in the hobby, the more repeat visits I've had, so that is starting to be a helpful trend. I think the suggestion about going to Panacea a few times and seeing the same provider to build up a bit of regularity is a good suggestion. But there are most definitely some providers who want specific things for verification. There are websites / services that will provide this, such as P411 and a few others, but there's cost involved and as I understand it the website has your real info even if the provider never sees it. When I was fairly new in the hobby and found the website Tryst, it seemed to me that a lot of the providers on there wanted a photo of your I'd with the address blocked out. There is no way in hell I'm providing that info. I even looked into getting a fake I'd just for hobby purposes, but the penalties for getting caught with one in Michigan are severe, so I decided against it. Basically here's my approach and this is just me. We each have our own comfort level. If a provider wants to know my username on here I'm ok telling her that. And if she wants to know who I've seen, I'll generally pass that info along since I've reviewed most of them on here anyway. But beyond that and maybe just answering a few questions I'm not going to say much else. There are two things that are an automatic pass for me--deposits and asking for personal info. This has forced me to pass on some providers I would have like to see, but my own peace of mind is important to me. And there are other providers out there who don't ask for those things. Just my two cents worth, but I think if more mongers would say no to deposits and no to providing personal info, then more providers would take the hint and stop asking for those things. --RJ.
Hey just heard from tiny she's available for outcalls or car. From 9 pm-12 first come first serve. It's the 1919 number and she's asking calls only no text.
There's a lot of posts about Tiny not responding. But she's also getting stood up a lot. Providers don't have anywhere to post about clients being unreliable. We post here when we show up and there's no reply from the provider we scheduled with. Because that sucks. And it definitely sucks when it's the other way around, and someone like Tiny is wasting her day on no-shows.
Her comms always have been quick and to the point with me. And when people actually show up she's a hundred percent locked in. We can't complain about deposits when mongers are standing up girls who do great work.
Made me cringe. There are some things that shouldn't even be the subject of a joke.
Yeah I actually had a provider pass out during a session once, not long ago. Whatever drug they chose kicked in very suddenly. I immediately felt saddened and disappointed bc my role changed. We were no longer in a mutually consenting arrangement, which is one thing I really like about paying for sex: we're both consenting to something we both benefit from. But suddenly this person (who will not be named) was unable to consent. And I was in a custodial role, unsure if they were okay, and somewhat responsible for them. Disappointed bc the sexual part was absolutely ended, since they could no longer consent to anything. Saddened bc they needed the release of the drug more than their ability to choose. I got up and got dressed and made sure they were conscious and alert before I left. I checked in the next day for some random reason, not mentioning the fact they passed out mid-session the night before.
Obviously, everyone in this hobby (on both sides) has various issues that compromise their judgement. But we have to be there for each other in certain situations. That's just basic humanity.
Consent is hot. The absence of consent is assault. This is not up for debate.
