At that point I decided I was going to either make a break for it or attack one of them the moment they left me one on one and the person guarding me dropped their guard. I finally got an opening, snapped off the cords they tied me with, barricaded myself in my bedroom and yelled that I had a gun and I was going to kill all four of them if they didn't leave. Within seconds I heard a vehicle peel out and race away. I waited a few minutes and then jumped out my bedroom window and ran to a neighbors to call the police. I think they bolted the second they heard me make a move.
I feel like a complete idiot and I hope my story is a lesson to everyone. I believe that I'm done with this hobby and perhaps all online dating forever. I don't care a bit about what they stole from me. That is what insurance is for and my bank and CC have all been good about everything. It's the feeling of helplessness and vulnerability that sucks. I'd give just about anything for 5 minutes with each of the four in an MMA ring or back alley.
