Made the coffee shop rounds and noticed a lot more clothing and a lot less shows. Generally being very careful. Talked to one of the girls who got a ticket. Apparently Uncle LEO has made several unannounced visits and caught the girls right in the middle of a show.
Things will get back to normal, but it might take a while for the girls to get comfortable again. Be gentlemen, be safe. All will be well.

I think it might be a nice idea to set the tone for your party, if ending up a SC is the end result, later.
I would only go to Girlz. It's much friendlier and relaxed. However, before you do anything, I would make a personal visit first to "scope it out" as someone suggested, and speak with Rachel, the owner. Or the manager on duty. Let her know what you want to do. I guarantee she will love to have you and all your money. If you have a business card, hand it to her to give her additional confidence in you and your plans. When the day comes, there won't be any surprises when 8 guys walk in. Bring money and spend it. Drinks, snacks and tipping. Make sure you are all buying something. And, TIP! Be polite, be cool and have fun.
(I've been in there when parties were going on. It happens. Remember, these aren't strip clubs. Just eye candy.).

So the girls got to be careful.
Haven't visited the shops in a while but I was able to go to 168, Girlz, and Starz. All the shops seemed to be a little on edge. Ladies were definitely covering up more. Probably due to the recent walk through by uncle LEO. I will probably just give it a bit and things will loosen up a bit. Didn't stop by 368. Don't know what the situation is there.

Attempted to visit Girlz and they were closed at 9 PM.
Starz was open with only 2 girls and no shows whatsoever.
Stayed there for about an hour and only got 1 refill for my tea.
Not fun anymore.

I have read a number of comments concerning tickets. I am not familiar with California laws. Ticket for what? If a girl is dressed lewdly, that's an arrest, not a ticket. If she is committing a sex act, that would be acting lewdly in public. So what kind of ticket?
So I went to OC for 24 hours only and did as much as possible in the area (other reviews in Asian PLEASER and Strip Club reports).
I started at Club Starzz on Friday around 2 pm. I brought an old work I'd to show them so they weren't scared of me. Forgive me for not knowing names, but the possibly mixed asian and latina was very nice and brought me tea and coffee after confirming. There were 2 girls doing shows (one full nude, the brunette asian / latina mix and a very tall asian girl was doing topless only). This continued for about an hour, but then two guys came in that couldn't confirm who they were and all shows were done for a while. They left and shift changed happened and still no shows. So I left for GirlZ Cafe.
I spent about 5 minutes total in GirlZ Cafe. The girls here were not very friendly, nor were they anywhere as close to as attractive as Starzz. I tipped the girl who brought over my tea, but didn't touch it, and left $2 (I thought fair enough for walking in, looking at the goods, and leaving. Mamasan ran after me in the parking lot and said I owed $6. Oh well.
Went from there to Club 368. Spent about 5 minutes there as well, chugged down a coffee. The one thicker latina possibly came and sat next to me. I asked why no one was showing and she said only one girl on staff today who shows and she's on lunch. So that was another 5 minutes and $6 wasted. Headed back to Club Starzz.
Club Starzz around 5 pm was great. Every single girl was showing except for one. All the girls came over and talked to me multiple times (except the girl Jazz, she wasn't very friendly to anyone in the crowd and seemed more concerned playing on her phone.) Tipped and played keno, etc. Was fun. Not quite sure I see the appeal though, and it seems like a hassle having to cover up every single time someone walks in the door. Why not just be a "strip club" and walk around naked and do the same stuff? But I can understand the appeal in a sense of just being like a sports bar, but with coffee and tea instead of beers and booze.
I visited Cafe 368 about a week ago. My second visit to an OC cafe. For those of you who don't like a lot of second-hand smoke like you get at places like Starz, this might be a good option. The place is much bigger than Starz, but the girls are not nearly as hot. Starz girls have that slutty stripper vibe. They could easily provide or work at a club if they wanted. At 368 they were more GND types. About five girls were working, dressed in bikinis or lingerie. There place was large compared to Starz and wasn't crowded. No one gave me any trouble, and I picked a table near a back corner. There were a few Asian guys playing cards and one guy working on a laptop. The vibe was mellow. My waitress was Jasmine. Turns out it was her first day on the job, and she was kind of nervous. She had a loose fitting knitted sweater she was wearing because it was cool. I think she also felt a little self conscious. I ordered a smoothie and she made it for me. Her first. Then she sat down and chatted with me for a while. As we talked every so often another girl would come by and fill up the complimentary iced tea. The custom is to slide a couple of bucks into their thong or bikini bottom by way of a tip, and that was kind of fun. I gave Jasmine $5 because she hung out with me for a while, and because it was her first day. She's tall, skinny and has braces: total GND. Treat her kindly.

Lots of vietnamese people stay home and celebrate. Lots of vietnamese businesses are even closed (for two weeks for the families to return to Vietnam). Lots of girls that work in the more adult industry or businesses don't want to be at work for bad karma or luck.

It was crazy at cafe 168! I got there around 1 pm and there were 22 girls working. The place was packed but I grabbed a table near the front. They were having a fashion show, and after that they set of a 6 ft step of firecrackers right in the middle of the cafe. Lots af and it stunk so bad that the cafe emptied out to let the smoke abate. Those girls were all hot as fuck and despite the crowd they were all super friendly. No real shows during the fashion show but afterwards the shows resumed.
Later on I stopped by Girlz. It was about half full and the girls there IMHO are by far the friendliest of all the cafes. There was lots of shows and MMS Rachel was probably the hottest one there. Haven't tried Starz yet but it's next on my list.
