And he could come off as elitist, though as has been stated, I think he meant that more as a joke, though obviously a joke that not everyone appreciated. But for the most part, I found Gene's reviews helpful, even when I didn't necessarily agree with all of his viewpoints. I find lots of other reviews on this forum helpful too. And when I've reached out to him via DM a few times, he's always replied and been very helpful (as I try to be when someone DMs me). And, we participants of this forum always have the option to simply scroll past the posts we don't like or don't find useful. Personally, I'm sorry to see him go. I think the variety and diverse viewpoints are one of the strengths of this board. Just my two cents worth of course. --RJ.

If you get a discount as a frequent flyer or grandfathered pricing not so much as that is more of YMMV. What I am talking about is ownership, loan to make an establishment happen, etc.

He said you don't have to hide the fact that you want to pay a little extra for a prettier girl and upgraded experience. Was he a white knight? Pimp? Sociopath? Who knows, but until he arrived this board was heavily guarded by the one they call Benz, who was able to position himself as an authority on how to monger at the lowest price. And that can be very useful. But sometimes it means finding a tweaked out blue-eyed skank that works from a mattress in the corner of the basement of a shitty house, or a fat chick from Ionia with a catheter in her chest. Or the like. Truly no slight against Benz. To each monger, his own. But to that point, mongers were sometimes made to feel guilty about wanting a different experience, one that maybe differed from paying two Hamiltons for a toothless methhead to garble your balls on a car date out behind the Walmart. But you would be crazy and stupid to ever want anything else at a higher price, right? Because, and let's all say it together, The Back of Their Heads All Look The Same. Well, G2 blew in and said damn that. And he said the back of their heads in fact don't all look the same. And he asked, what if you have no interest in a tweaked out blue-eyed skank that works from a mattress in the basement of a shitty house, or a fat chick from Ionia with a catheter in her chest, or a toothless methhead to garble your balls on a car date out behind the Walmart? What if you want another kind of experience more suited to your tastes, and are willing to pay for it? And battles ensued. Benz fought back hard. But Genebern stood his ground, and in time reviews about higher priced mongering began to flow freely out in the open. Were his posts long-winded and ridiculous? Of course they were. Were they meant as a joke? I'm going to say no, especially at first. Alter ego? Maybe. Joke? Maybe not so much. I poked some innocent fun at a few of his posts over time and he didn't exactly just laugh it off. But he did add a new and much needed dimension to this board, one that said it's OK to admit you sometimes want different experiences at varying prices. One that said there's not just one way to monger. One that said it's physically impossible for one person's back of their head to look exactly the same as another's. G2 was an equalizer. And his name should be heralded in song. In fact, from here on out I'm going to call him by a new name. And that name is G-FORCE. And that song will be called "You Haunt My Repose". And it will be sung by The Pendulous Orbs of Delight.
