Trickle to the other shops, who knows but if I was an owner it would certainly send me a message. My guess is that the ridiculous bond was placed on the owner. I found out that when the area went dark about a year or so ago the AMPs were forced out by the landlords. Remember Myrtle Beach? They still haven't returned. Maybe this time LEO is hoping for a "shock and awe" type of effect. Just speculation on my part but anyway I'm backing away from this neck of the woods until LEO stops playing their games. That's all I got to say.
No, she wasn't the owner!

Damn, not the owner. My experience has been seeing the staff just getting minimal bond followed with court cost and a slap on the wrist. Guess this magistrate got up on the wrong side of the bed. Prostitution is normally a misdemeanor. Oh well, just sounds like dirty pool but maybe the lady gets a good lawyer and walks away.

Another Arrest
Another one happened yesterday. 15 K bond.
Another one happened yesterday. 15 K bond.
* which place? Where was she working?

Just my opinion!

No other one

👍
She was pick up in York county and transferred to Winston Salem.
Yes, she was arrested on the 22nd also when the girl here was arrested. She is the boss.
They transferred her here because the charges (2) originated here.

Also, not to be argumentative or expose anything that you all should already know, but there are obviously also other things in play here including operating a business without a license, operating and performing massage therapy without a state licensed massage certification / license, and possibly the more serious of offenses being tax fraud, tax evasion, money laundering, etc. Remember these places are all cash only, meaning the business or owner is not paying taxes and the girls working there for the tips are not paying taxes. I also have no idea about the human trafficking accusations, who knows if any of these women were forced to do anything or not. Unfortunately there is a lot more here than just a harmless HE or tug.

Prostitution
Yeah, also not being argumentative but the arrest was for promoting prostitution I believe. These other things, tax evasion, trafficking, etc. Weren't mentioned. I can't see behind closed doors but usually these bust are only a slap on the wrist. As far as her forcing other ladies to do things against their will, it's much easier for owners to get providers who offer extras than to find workers who are a legitimate masseuse. Oh well, whatever.

Prostitution usually is NOT a slap on the wrist, especially when it's combined with other potentially felony charges. Just sayin!

Prostitution
Thanks for the correction. Stand alone prostitution is a misdemeanor but when you add other charges it will get serious quickly.
