I went out at my own personal expense and gained the knowledge I needed, then when I found things out and shared (carefully) then those favors were returned. Mongers won't just tell everybody about good spots, because then they get ruined. You have to prove trustworthiness, which is probably impossible to do; just share what you've learned and MAYBE you'll get something back in return.
Now let's get some posts, because I know things are still happening in MoCo!

Two of your three posts are requests for info and the third is an absolutely worthless pseudo-review of an anonymous masseuse at a nameless MP somewhere in "CP." Oh, and it was posted in the wrong forum, to boot. In other words, you are the perfect example of the problem je2010 wrote about.
My advice to you is to put yourself out there, take a few for the team and then post a report that has enough accurate detail to be useful to others. Then, and only then, will you start to build up some credibility such that others will be willing to provide some info to you.

I've been looking for a quality massage for a reasonable price now that Traditional Wellness in Damascus was shut down. Took a trip to Annie's in gtown. It's Moco so no extras at all but the massage was pretty good. Fairly attractive young woman gave me my massage and it looked like there were several additional cuties in the back. If you're in the mood for a good massage for $49/ hr you might want to check them out.
Visited a nail salon place off 355 over the weekend and had my first DIY experience. Never thought I would want a DYI at AMPs / Salons but I was in the mood and the provider was attractive. When the standard service was unavailable on the menu, she offered the alternative option which I gladly accepted.
Is there a general rule of thumb on how to tip DIY services? I ended up tipping .35 but not sure if it was too low.
Maybe I should've just tipped myself instead =p.

Breast / ass play or at least talked dirty to you) if she didn't nothing I don't think I'd give more than my standards for a no extras massage. On the flip side, she may have offered you DIY this time to determine if you're ok to offer other items to in the future.

However, it might pay off on a second visit if you see that same masseuse again. She might recognize you or she might not so make sure she knows you've seen her before. Then, at the beginning of the massage, make it clear that the first time you took care of yourself but this time you would really appreciate it if she took care of you (and of course that you will take care of her when you tip). By mentioning it at the beginning of the massage, she will be thinking about your offer while she massages your back. Try not to let her cover you with a towel, if you can. Say it's too hot or some other excuse. What you're looking for is to get her to start teasing you before the flip. When she has you flip, if she doesn't start the finish on her own, remind her of what you said earlier and see if she will let you place her hand on your sweet spot. It may take some gentle persuasion but just keep at it and hope for success. Then, if you get her full participation and some roaming as well, you can pat yourself on the back for a job well done.
Of course, there's always the chance she won't go for it no matter what you do. In that case, my recommendation is to tip only the 20% for the massage and then never to return. If you make another visit, make sure to come back to the board and report how it went (either way).

If you give to the board (reviews, field reports, etc), others should be more willing to give to you.
As far as a read receipt is concerned, I never use them but it is an option available in the inbox. Not sure why it was used in your case but you can easily check on the senior member by clicking on his forum handle and then on "view forum posts." If the member checks out OK, you may feel more comfortable about replying to the post. Use your best judgment, either way.
Looking at your posting history, most are questions, requests for intel and / or non-contributory comments. You will want to reverse that trend if you want to get the full benefit of this forum.

But, if you find yourself in a place with partition walls, I would strongly advise against discussing anything with the person at the front desk. Other than the house fee, the transaction is a private one between you and the therapist and you need to keep it that way.
Whispering is one way to communicate and one benefit is you may be able to get close enough to the girl to whisper in her ear, which can help set a nice, intimate mood. I guess the better question is how to convince you're not Uncle LEO. I usually follow some advice I received once which was to sit down on the edge of the table undraped before they walk in, and usually they'll take that as a sign to ask what specifically you would like, whereupon you can check the menu. I mean, I know what I'm doing as far as whispering and hand signals, it just seems like a very low percentage are willing these days, however most are not in the least bit offended that you ask. I've only had one experience where I tried roaming and the girl stopped and looked PISSED but continued a very nice massage anyway; otherwise they'll kind of just politely move out of the way and I take that as a no. And no, I'm not as concerned about anyone hearing the finish as asking about it, I've heard plenty of sounds in legit places that could be mistaken. For the finish, though, it's few and far between these days in MoCo.
The few apartment AMPs there were are gone and the girls are soloing randomly. I do think the crabby LMP is still going strong, though. I've just been in the mood for eastern fare as of late. Agreed with previous posts that hand gestures is enough to communicate what you are looking for. These ladies are talented and will have no issues deciphering the code. They may pretend they don't or point to the sign on the wall but that's a clear indication that no extras are available.

Went to sunshine spa twice in the past month. First time I got an older women with short hair (not to good looking). But her massage was great. If the masseuse ever decides to provide extra services, then of course a higher tip would be in order.
Also, AMPs that provide extras generally charge 60-80 for a session, unless they're running a special. When I see a place where the regular price is lower, it's an indication to me that the place is probably strictly legit.
