Forget About The Chicago Reader Classifieds.
Yep, and more towns will follow their lead. Guess we will go back to the old Chicago Reader classified days.
Don't bother. There's nothing in the Reader anymore. Just ads for 1 900 Sex Chat Phone Lines.
They may try, but I don't think they'll succeed
I assume this means that they are keeping a close eye on the Dean Street spa too.
Re.
They run that place very above-board. Always a manager on duty (one of the BS charges they used to close on of the other spas), masseuses are licensed, and from everything I know and have read, absolutely no 'extras' offered. If they go after Dean St. , I think they're going to either have to fabricate some 'violation', or they're going to find themselves facing some serious legal questions.
I'm guessing you're referring to the "TW" review
https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=3&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwiR0v2ez87NAhUIOCYKHfgyChsQFggqMAI&url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.yelp.com%2Fbiz%2Fshangri-la-spa-and-sauna-st-charles-2&usg=AFQjCNFxwi6S3J1Bu749G4GNiv3Lxuox7Q I have a question in regards to the Yelp reviews for Shangri-La Spa. I would like to know from the Monger who wrote the fake review if he received free services or just a discount. If they are giving free HJ's for fake Yelp reviews I will be more than happy to give them some glowing reviews. SaintChuck.
I paid them one visit to tour the place when they initially opened, and the description provided by "TW" is actually very accurate. There was at least one woman who was identified as a massage therapist who spoke English well enough that I suspect she was born here in the US, so it's not impossible that they now have two who can hold a conversation in English. I also suspect that the claim made that 'extras' were hinted at is bogus. As was said, this place is 'gold standard' on the inside, and that could not have come cheap. Can't imagine the owner risking that much of an investment by turning a blind eye to employees looking to earn a little 'extra' money.
