This place had been closed last year by the Licensing folks. Didn't realize it was re-opened I guess recently when I saw it listed in yellowpages.com Busy section of Bustleton near Grant Ave.

Ok place, nothing spectacular. Masseuse was in her late 40s, old-looking face, but great body. Over the past couple of weeks, it seems like the only thing that I have been reading on the Board is about bad experiences at Orange (surprises the hell out of me) and good experiences at a little place on Clarion Street. I worked all weekend and decided that I needed to venture out and look for Clarion Street.

I was born and raised in Philadelphia, but I honestly could not tell you where Clarion Street is located/situated. Thank Goodness that someone was nice enough to buy me one recently, so I typed in the address and off I went. Okay, so I drive past and there are all kinds of marked vehicles around, which I attribute to the fact that they are doing 24/7 demolition at 120 North Broad Street. I thought that it would be way too risky for me to venture over, especially because I would have stood out in my outfit, although I was very casually dressed with a white dress shirt and blue jeans. I drove around looking for a parking spot, but I didn't have any luck. Besides the bright light outside, it looked very dark inside, so I figured that they had to be closed.

Someone had mentioned to me privately about 1010, which is something that I investigated recently. It happens to be Joseph Poon's Vegetarian Restaurant. I am vegetarian, so I don't mind going in for dinner, but I wasn't too sure about this location. I ventured over and still am not totally convinced that there is something there that I want to see. There is a place on the other side a little ways up closer to 11th that seemed promising, but I am not sure.

I decided to take a venture North and see if I could visit the Pearly White Gates on 10th, because that may be the only way that I am going to get there. The Gates were closed, which very may be the case when it is time for me to go for real for real. After that I decided to try a place that I am obsessed with, but am ball-less in going inside. The little place on North 9th Street. The street is totally empty besides a small SUV with Jersey plates, which had the motor running. I thought about parking and going in, but I thought that it would have looked way too obvious where I was at and did not want to come back to my vehicle being:

a) Stolen
b) Ransacked

I passed and decided that I would try somewhere else. I drove down to 11th and Sansom and figured that I would go there. Can I tell you how much of a nightmare that place is? The entrance is at the very back of a huge empty parking lot, so it would not take Captain Obvious to know where I am going, if I happen to park my car on the street and walk through the lot. There is a lot of foot and vehicular traffic, so I decide to go look for a bank to get money, because there is no way that I am whipping out plastic.

As I drive around aimlessly looking for a branch, so that I don't have to pay any ATM fees, I realized that I spend way too much time, effort, and energy planning my covert operations. I figured out that if I were to spend a fraction of the time, effort, and energy that I do working on this on something more productive, I would be either very dangerous or quite brilliant that the government would love to have me on their team.

I finally found a WaWa, because all of the banks that I went were seemingly locked and shut down. I get some money and go back around to 11th and Sansom. I park my car and wait until the foot traffic cleared up. I noticed a car come up and park. I started to exit my vehicle, but some schmoe is staying in the car with the motor running. If you don't know by now, I am totally freaked out by any of that stuff, because I have way too much to lose, if I ever get busted. I waited about 10 minutes, but this prick just would not leave. I decided that I needed to venture to another location.

I drove past Quince Street, but alas, there was people eating outside of Moriarity's, so that was going to be a no-go. A little further up is a place at 11th and Walnut, but the same thing, there were people eating outside of the Irish Pub. It would have looked too obvious for me to try to walk into a building that houses a florist that late at night. I think that I will need to check these places out during the workday, so it isn't as obvious.

I decided to drive West on Sansom Street and try to stop at a location that I went many moons ago when I was still in college at 118 Sansom Street. The place looked like it was completely dark and shut down, so I dunno.

I decided that I was going to become ballsy and try to visit the fine establishment at 15th and Chestnut. I drove past a couple of times on Chestnut Street, but there was a mix of heavy traffic and no parking spots, so this was not going to work out in my favor. I decided to drive down the little alley around back and see if there was a way to get in, because I had seen that advertised in the past. There is!! Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. Now, I am getting all hot and heavy.

I drive around and found a parking spot on Chestnut Street. There is this shady looking guy pacing back and forth on the opposite side of the street and he keeps looking into my car. I had a lot of stuff in the car, so I didn't want him to offer to watch my car or any other bullshit, because I would have given him a surprise that he would still be thinking about next year. I decided that there had to be another option, so I started to drive again. At this point, I am two hours into this hunt and realizing that I have to be one of the most pathetic people this side of the Mississippi.

I found a spot on Market Street outside of the PNC Bank, which said that it was for Loading Only. Well, I had only planned to Unload, so I am not sure if the Parking Authority would be good with that, but they weren't going to have much choice, unless they peeled off a ticket for their troubles. I walked to the back entrance of 15th and Chestnut. There was a Security Guard from the building on Market Street (the name is escaping my mind for some reason) that was lurking around, which made me feel queasy, but I didn't have a choice, because the other mind was now in total control of the situation.

He turned his back for a second and I hopped up the two steps and watched that I didn't bump my noggin. I tried the door, but it was locked (no surprise, there). I rang the bell once and didn't get a response, so a few moments later, I rang again. There was still no response, so I dejectedly walked away, because I thought that this was going to be the one. For a moment, I debated the possibility of trying the front door, but I wasn't sure if that would go over too well with Mamasan, especially if she was pissed off that I rang the bell twice.

I walked over to 118 Sansom Street, which I would have to swear that I saw it advertised a couple of weeks ago. As I said, the police was totally dark and looked like it was vacant. The door was locked, which it wasn't in the past. I walked back to my car and said that I had to try Clarion Street, if it was the last thing that I did.

I found a parking spot on 12th Street and scanned the paper, because there was a cop that seemed to be following me for a few blocks. I have everything legal, so there is no worries on that end, but I am sure that we all get a bit uneasy when Uncle Leo is following around like a lost puppy dog. He passed and kept going straight. I hopped out of the car with all intentions of going to Clarion Street when there was a flashing arrow outside of 237 North 12th Street that begged me to come in. Who was I to deny the urge, so I walked in.

I have calculated that there are twenty-two AMPs that are advertising. I have visited 7 of them, so far, with the hopes of eventually taking a visit to each of them. I will be more than happy to share my list privately with other Senior Members. BTW, I am sure that there are others that go UTR, but I don't know of any, so please don't ask.

Just to share an observation: if you want to have a good experience at an AMP, do not, do not, do not (did I make this clear enough for you?) visit an AMP on Friday or Saturday night. It is all about Supply and Demand. The supply is limited and the demand is high, so they can fluctuate the price, but they can mess with the quality, which means that you are going to be rushed in and out.

Entertaining posts, as well as (somewhat) informative. But definitely disappointing with the lack of payoff at the end. The reader is found wanting to hear about the unloading, and is denied.

TB, thanks for the comment. I am not one to disappoint, but there is only so much that my fingers can do in one night. I will have a detailed report about 237 soon.

If Guy's review of 237 is even half as detailed as his report on his parking experiences, we are in for an most entertaining time. Waiting with anticipation.

Yo gents back after a 5 year break, been to every AMP in the city and live four blocks away from the ave. Will be reporting soon on the action and sightseeing. I didn't get any recs, but well, I did ask on short notice, with no cred. in this forum, so no love lost there. As a lesson to the newbs, remember, you too can find all you need by RTFF'ing.

I headed to what apparently is the best block in Philly, what with the hotels, the Wawa, the Asian food, and more AMP's per square foot than anywhere else I've been, and started strolling. 1123, 237, all the 12's, they're all there. It was a hard time just picking one.

Before I report, though, I will digress and note that at 10:30 on a weeknight, it is apparently impossible for a guy to find a place to drop a deuce in that area. Man, the hotels need to just open that lobby bathroom and hook a dude up. Damn. I finally gave up and decided to take care of business at the AMP of my choice. Went back to the Welsh Road AMP. To my surprise and happiness, Tina was working. She had worked at the AMP on Philmont, but I hadn't seen her since last summer. In fact, last June, because I remember coming back from a brief vacation and needing an AMP visit. Pretty girl, with perhaps one parent who was American, or more accurately caucasian, as her features were not entirely Asian. She had natural C cups and a flat stomach, which was great given the size of her rack. She had such a positive attitude; I'd love to take her home for a weekend. It's nice when some less than great previous AMP visits are at least punctuated with a home run like this.

I'm surprised no one has reviewed this place yet. I'll prolly go toftt, but if anyone has any experience here (or has an inkling based on their ad) please do let me know. I'm wondering what to expect (and depending on the day, what I want changes lol).

But tried in terms of showing up and running away as fast as lightning. I called and said I would come in later in the day. I asked how many girls they had and they said 2. So, I show up at the place. The door is locked. Its an office building. They have 20 different buzzers to choose from. Some of the offices are professional offices. Like doctors and real estate and other stuff like that. So, I buzzed the one for the european dove. Only one girl was there and she was with a customer. She came out of the room and said I could wait for a few. I am not going to say anything mean but, my goodness, for sake of argument, I'll just say she was a little over weight. So, I bolted. Maybe they have other lookers there but I have no idea.

The worst part was my back up plan was CH2. I went over there which was just a few blocks away. I asked the mamasan for a young girl. The mamasan said they only had one girl and she was middle aged. By this, I thought she meant mid-20's. But, she was really middle aged. Her name was Mimi too. But, not the Mimi of old. Anyway, I bolted out of there too. Being fully discouraged for the evening and probably since it was so hot and I didn't feel like rumpaging about the city anymore, I went home. Better luck next time I guess!

It's definitely not good in Philly right now- tried three different places today, all bad- CH2- girl looked like she was in her 40s, was told to come back next week.

4xx N. 9th St- no good, was even worse than CH2, she looked like she was in her 50s.

309 N 13th St- again no good.

I figured three strikes and you're out- then I read about the bust of 1235 Vine, so I'm not surprised that everyone is laying low.

I saw Tina at the Philmont amp also, and agree with what you say about her. I've tried to search the postings, but can't find the location for this place on Welsh. Any help? I've been wanting to go back to a good Amp nearby; been spending too much time, and money, on chasing after girls on Craigslist.

Just came back from orange. Didn't bust a nut cuz the woman was too ugly but they still conned me out of my 1+. 6. I shouldn't have even gone into the room before picking at least a bustable woman.

Then went to that russian place advertised for $70. Big girls aren't my type cuz they look like walking meatballs. Disappointed with my 2nd attempt at AMPs. If anyone knows of a decent looking woman somehwere, save me!
