Went to Tri city massage after reading several reviews. Did 1 hr. The rooms are separated with curtains. Other than that was a nice place. The woman I saw was young and attractive. A really good massage for 70 $. Got the extras for 60 $. The best experience I have had in Johnson city. Left very happy. This will be my go to spa from now on.

That was all open. I was taken to the last room / area on the left side, and the room was inclosed with the same ceiling to floor curtains. I was the only one there for the whole hour so I did not hear anything around me but I can see where that could be an issue on a busy day. I also noticed there was some bars mounted from the ceiling above the table. I assume that is used for holding on when they would walk on your back, but that was not offered at my visit. (Have had it done before) I didn't get uncomfortable, but if it would had been busy or if I could hear people around me it would have been different. Even though Mimi's has a more private room (used the same room on every visit I have ever been there) it has a curtain for a door and I can hear everyone that walks in or walks by. I did get a little uncomfortable there once as some woman kept coming in and talking to the woman that was in with me. Of course it was in Asian so I have no clue what was discussed but it took away from the experience.

They definitely have an older staff of workers. Sometimes you can get lucky and get a decent massage and average ending. I have been told they used to have younger more attractive women with better menu options. I can not confirm that personally.

Last one was a "sick kid" she had to go pick up from school right before our appointment time. Texting is very spotty and often nonexistent.

Asia spa one time. Got table shower but diy, not for me. Also health Asia in abingdon offers shower. Been twice and both were good visits.
