The idea behind it is simple. Say a guy starts a thread called "400 pounds or heavier" because the brother likes chicks with really huge ass and wants to know if there are other brothers that are into the same thing. I'm a spinner man myself so I probably wouldn't spend time on that thread. However there are douchebags who come to our beloved forum not so much for pussy but for the bullshit they can start (yes it's pathetic, welcome to my fucking world) and a thread like that would most likely be a prime target. What the thread starter can do is delete the assholes posts, nothing more. He can't edit them (I can, I can make all your posts say "I love Trannies" if I feel like it) he can just get rid of them. If Rdavis felt like it he could delete every post on this thread including mine. We do this so that the guy who's into the large chicks doesn't have to write me to take care of losing the posts. It saves everybody involved time.

Interestingly enough, they pay a small price for this. On the threads they have moderation privileges on, they can't edit their own posts.
