With marijuana becoming more and more accepted by society law enforcement agencies are spending less and less time going after drug dealers and users and, in the future if it becomes legal they won't police it at all. Which means they will have more time and resources to go after other crimes. I would predict these types of raids will become more common place after all they are rarely violent and they make for favorable publicity which the depts. Like. And as the larger operations come under increasing pressure they will of course quit further limiting options out there. I would also imagine this will lead to more pressure on independent operators as well. I wonder what it would take to decimalize sex work in the state of Ohio.

Marijuana is not the cause for this. Since 2018 ish if you have a small amount on you they either will let you keep it, crush it out, or write you a ticket which will be dismissed or reduced in court. They still charge the traffickers, and that won't change even with decriminalization of small amounts. The cause of the increase in stings is Yost's political agenda and the whole anti cop thing that has been going on that has police afraid to go after real criminals. Instead they have to sit back on the internet and let a bunch of average joes who do nothing wrong come to them so they can bust them for meeting an adult woman. Part of me hopes the violent crime keeps increasing, they aint helped my cause at all, my neighborhood is rotting away while they sit on their ass and wait to bust the hard working mailman or construction worker for trying to get a BJ.

They have always been there a lot because of drugs and other issues. I stay away from there mainly in the past because I didn't want to get hassled for just being there. The other article I read said they used a fake ad to get guys there.

And locking a John up and no information on person they visited status or if there was a handler. Until providers get caught they play that card to get free and right back to work but the people getting all the attention lives are ruined.
