Does anyone know what is going on with all the torn up roads and construction work along International, (16th to 22nd, and nearby)? The lane closures, traffic barriers, and inability to make turns is causing a lot of confusion, and hindering street access.
Will things return to normal in time for warmer weather? Just wondering.

On top of all the rain, I imagine it has been pretty quiet out there most nights (I only get out once in a blue moon these days, so I definitely can't speak to trends).
I did find an article about it, says here: "construction of the East Bay Bus Rapid Transit line — an innovative new AC Transit bus service with its own lane from San Leandro to downtown Oakland — along International Boulevard, which started in 2016 and is expected to be done near the end of 2019. ".

I haven't forgotten about you. I have been out several times over the winter, and between the rain, and road construction work, things have been pretty dismal. Add to that the fact that LE has been wanting to dazzle the track with their sparkling display of red and blue flashers for no apparent reason, there has been little to report. I wonder how many thousands of dollars the tax payers put out for heavy, harassment style over-patrolling each night.
Finally, last night things perked up a bit. Most of the activity has been scrunched into a very small area, (due to roadwork and closed streets). So, here is how things looked between 10: PM and 1: AM:

I only go for WSW, and picked up maybe a dozen of them, but none of them would go BBFS. Same thing in LA the week before on Fig, all services covered.
