Hi all, not sure if this is the right thread to post in, but I need some advice on monger tools, technology, and tactics. I'm by no means a newbie but I have some general questions. What is the best disposable phone to buy for this hobby? I heard it's difficult to activate them and keep them anonymous in this state is that true? If I can't have a phone that is completely anonymous and untrackable to the SO then there is no point in buying one. I'm looking mostly to get a tracfone that I could use to text providers with. Does anybody have any recommendations?

I was also hoping someone could explain to me why so many johns allow themselves to get robbed by providers during incalls. I only street monger so I have no experience here but I've read many reviews where the monger drops the donation on table or whatever and then the provider doesn't give promised service or rushes or otherwise rips off. When I read this I can easily see how it could happen but what I don't understand is how come the monger doesn't go back and grab his money and leave. Am I not understanding something did I miss something? I'm not trying to start anything or portray myself as a tough guy I'm just wondering why the monger doesn't just snatch his money back and leave. Is it fear of pimp or provider causing a scene in hotel? If it's just the 2 of you in the room and you can see where she put the money and she's clearly ripping you off why not just grab your money back and then leave? Just wondering.

It was very easy to register using a fake name and yahoo email address in that name. On the registration page where it asked for an address I put Tracfone's address.

As long as you pay cash for the phone and any minutes you buy, and also use an email that no one else knows about you should be fine. Always remember to delete all calls and texts immediately after receiving / sending them. This way there's plausible deniability should the phone ever be discovered. You could claim it's a backup should your regular phone die. If there's nothing on there to incriminate you, then you have nothing to worry about.

I take these precautions and I'm not married nor do I currently have an SO. It's just a way for me to keep a buffer between hobby life and regular life. Also the Tracfone is easily tossed should a bad situation arise.

If you're worried about being spotted purchasing it, go a couple of towns away or to New Hampshire (or any state close by) and buy it. I had no trouble at all activating mine online and I'm in Massachusetts. That was two years ago so maybe they've changed the rules since then. I used a fake name but the email needs to be valid as they will send you information you need there. Just create one specifically for that purpose. If you really want to be careful, go to the library and use the computers there to activate it. To top up the minutes you can buy the cards at Walmart or wherever. Radio Shack also sells minutes but they just print out the code on the receipt rather than sell you a card. Good luck and let me know how it goes or if you have more questions.

Just an FYI and warning-I had a monger phone-Net 10. I let the time lapse on it-which I had done a couple times before. I bought new cards each time and loaded the phone back up. This time I let it sit idle for a couple months (before it had only been a few weeks).I bought 20. 00 worth of time-went to load it up and the system was telling me I had an invalid SIM card. I called Net 10 and they said they would mail me a new SIM card-well thats not happening-so I will need to go and buy a new Net 10 phone-I already have a 20. 00 card so I am locked in to the NET 10 phone at this point-last time I was at the sueprmarket-I saw what appeared to be better deals (10. 00 reloads vs. 20. 00).just be careful not to let your phone expire as I did.

I am using Google Voice on my iPhone for hobbying. I've been using it for the past 2 years or so and it has been working great. After I am finished with the calls / texts, I simply log off from the Google Voice app. I believe this is a better option than carrying two phones or sim cards.

Google knows what phone # to forward your calls to, and that can be traced to you by someone with enough willpower (with a subpoena).

Personally, I do the same, but I'm considering going the 2nd phone route. The issue is hiding it, I think. The Google Voice option saves physical space at the expense of an indirect link back to you.

Hey guys I was wondering if anyone has gone to one of these parties. There is one going on Saturday, that I signed up for and I have never been to one. Being a single man, and not a Brad Pitt type what should I expect. Is it worth going? Have you had any luck? If it is worth it, anyone have any pointers? I am just curious because its in Mass and I live in NH, I want to make sure that it would be worth my while.

Thanks for the help in advance[/QUOTE]I've been to several and it's definitely inconsistent. Depends entirely on the party. The ones that let single guys in freely tend to be sausage fests with a small number of overworked women.

The ones that are more selective about letting single men in tend to have better ratios, but that's still no guarantee you'll have a good time. Generally speaking, if you enjoy your women on the larger side, you'll be happy. If you don't, you might be fighting for scraps with lots of others.

Similarly, some hosts seem to be in it for the entrance fee, so they'll let in far more single guys than needed. Those that have low fees or "just whatever you feel like donating" are more likely to be in it for the fun, and just trying to break even on party supplies.

If it does go well (or if it doesn't!) , do let us know though!
