Ha, I saw a frequently-referenced-here lady earlier this year (I won't name her; she's a sweetie), and she texted me when I arrived to say she needed another ten minutes. Fine. I'm plenty accustomed to the wait-in-the-hotel-parking-lot game. I get there, exchange pleasantries, and I'm shown the restroom to take a quick rinse. I get in there and see the following.
1) Two damp towels hanging on the door hook. That'd be His & Hers, of course.
2) In the otherwise completely empty garbage pail next to the toilet: A freshly-used condom.
The silly side of me briefly contemplated grabbing it, putting it on halfway, then trotting out while pointing to it and saying "Hey look, I'll just re-use this one! How about a discount? I'm saving you money on supplies!
It really does take an act of willful ignorance for me, sometimes, to put on a smile and plow through with a date.
