Hunter, if you are talking about the AMP on H St. around 8th St. Forget the extras, none to be had. It's at tease. They are associated with the AMP on White Ln. I hit the place on H St. when it opened, 5 min into the session the girl asked for a tip, OK thinking I might get some action, I gave her a nice tip but she asked for more. I upped the tip a little. On 06/05/08 the Bakersfield Police Department/Kern County Sheriff’s
Department Joint Vice Task Force (JVTF) conducted a “street walker” prostitution
suppression operation along the Union Avenue corridor. Undercover officers
from the Bakersfield Police Department and the Kern County Sheriff’s Office
along with uniformed officers from the Kern County Sheriff’s Department Gang
Suppression Unit, Bakersfield Police Department’s Directed Policing Unit,
Reserve Officers from both agencies and officers from the California Highway
Patrol participated in this joint operation.

The JVTF recognizes that the prostitution activity adversely affects the residents
that live in nearby neighborhoods and the businesses that are located in the
impacted area. Physical assaults, robberies, vandalism, narcotics related
offenses, public health concerns and reduced property values are often tied to
prostitution. Additionally, there are traffic safety concerns involving pedestrians
crossing or encroaching on streets and roadways as well as vehicles that impede
traffic by “cruising” and stopping in the roadway.

Twenty-five people were arrested as a result of this operation. Twenty-two
subjects were arrested for violation of California Penal Code section 647(b),
solicitation of prostitution. One subject was arrested for violation of California
Penal Code section 653.22, loitering for the purpose of prostitution. One subject
was arrested for violation of H & S 11364, possession of narcotics paraphernalia,
and additional subject was arrested on several outstanding warrants.
