First time I went to Fuji the lady who greeted me at the door and took me to the room was also the lady who serviced me, and she was old enough to be the matriarch of the place.

With Tokyo sure there's an old lady up front, but she's just the person who greets you and gets you to a room.

Having struck out with 4 (!) Asian apt I then went for the reliable Centreville places.

I had not been to either One Spa or the one next to Fuji, but a recent report of no air con made One Spa the easy choice.

The price is still a reasonable 60. The table shower was very nice, and quite complete, but without the teases I had at the other two. Still, a good TS is always appreciated, and for me a key advantage of AMP over Asian Apt.

Of course, actually being available is another benefit as well!
