I've been struggling recently with whether the hobby is worth it, pun intended. When I began exploring this hobby about 5-6 years ago, things were much different. Things were even different two years ago.
Of late, it seems most providers have granted each other 'GPS' passes, both with their donation requests and attitudes. A narrative providers on TNA like to trumpet is that this hobby is a "premium" service.
I'd argue it's no longer an actual service at all, much less premium. Even a basic modicum of courtesy is missing. If you had an agreement to buy a car, then showed up to a dealership to sign the papers and drive off in your new car, you would expect to walk in, be greeted, have a pleasant chat, sign your paperwork, and accept the keys to your new car. That's a premium service.[/QUOTE]I always thought the rate on TNA was higher. I used BP more when that was active and found many good talents there for cheaper rate. Few example were missmackenzie and menna69 when they just started. Back then there were no restrictions with those 2 and their service were 20/10. Once they got on tna their price went up and service became more restricted for missmackenzie. It seems that once providers got on TNA they feel they can charge more. I also found out from quite a few providers that some hobbyist would encourage them to go on tna and / or charge more which might gave them the gps mentality. Be that as it may the increase was never more than 50-100, but now a day the rate hike seems ridiculous. If I want to see provider now I use EB or STG. Although like the old BP those websites can be quite risky, but for me if I can't trust TNA reviews and risk it there as well, why pay more?
Reading yet another Alert on TNA around Allison Taylor. She's cute but the drama always seems to follow. Some guy forgot Rule # 3 of Poon Club. Never lend a provider money with the expectation of getting anything back. Check out this alert thread. The white knights just amaze me in this one.

In the hobby there will be some fluctuation but you can usually find reasonably quality vs price if you just look.

In all seriousness, it has nothing to do with inflation, but, yes, with the local situation, "this city," and not the hobby. You can still go back to some areas in say Texas and go to almost any AMP and get FS for 60 house and 40-60 tip instead of having to get crazy lucky here and probably paying around $200 for it. BnG, especially from nonpros, easily found for $40 which makes it really easy to be a frequent goer. I had 3 gals (so at least one would be available) that initially only offered BnG, two of then nonpros, and depending on their mood things would advance for the same $40. I was genuinely surprised when I came here and found out that the normal rate was 120 for HH when I was used to 80 for HH and 120 for hr, and the quality up here is mostly garbage, tons of younger, pretty girls in all of the places I've been to.
So yes it's Portland / Oregon, which simply sucks and is being made worse by Californians fleeing their equally terrible state. The issue with the virus, rioting, etc, and increasing crackdown on SW, is making it worse. But there are a ton of places you can go out of state once things cool down that are a thousand times better. I'm leaving sometime next year myself, mostly for other reasons, but one thing I'm definitely looking forward to is a higher quality and far more affordable scope for hobbying. Portland has, by far, been the worse in that regard.

Or the inflation or the fuglies demanding mega donations. Where's the proof on an "increasing crackdown" on SW? Certainly not from your 82nd reports. I see one SW report by you & that was asking for #'s. How much time have you really spent searching 82nd for pussy & observing?

From August 2019>August 2020 I see about 30 SW arrests TOTAL for prostitution & that's in Multnomah & Clackamas counties combined. An odd few SW for loitering. It's been a month since Multnomah even arrested one, Clackamas even longer for any charges related to prostitution.
As far as mongers catching a patronizing charge, last arrest was five months ago.
As one who is out pounding the pavement in search of that perfect doe way too much. I haven't seen any PPD harassment of girls walking in a good year if not two.
Not too many years ago you'd always see SW's getting arrested or at very least given a lecture about them walking 82nd. Never see that anymore. Not even a lazy PPD spotlighting them as they drive by in months.
Now I see numerous blatant & good looking ho's strutting along w/o a fucking care in the world. If anything, I'd say the SW scene is going strong w/ PPD turning a blind eye to the shenanigans going on.
I'd bet some of the other 82nd loyalists such as Rammer, No Fear To Try & Jeff All Star would all agree if this is a "crackdown". Crackdown harder. LOL.
Those who put the effort in are rewarded w/ affordable & cute does.
