It makes one wonder how many 'POG' have used the more popular names here as reference w / o any consent after reading a review or comment. I'd bet most of the 1 post wonders are actually one in the same continuously making up new screen names, hoping to get a reputable reviewer to fall for the bait. In my case it was complete made up bullshit but how the hell do you police that?

The woman and I establish a " code word or words " that she must hear from the man. Very often the provider will send me HANDLE on the site as well as his REAL name. Many times when a member contacts this woman, the member give his real name (or a fake real name) . While I do know many members real names as well as their handles, for the most part I do not. So when the provider tell me that " Tom Swift " called, I have no clue what " Tom Swift's " handle is. Shit, I just used the name Tom Swift, who was a character in a series of boys books in the 1950's that I read- Like the Hardy Boys series or the Nancy Drew series of books for girls. My " tenure and experience (and yes Loki, my age " are showing here. LOL. That is why I ask the woman to get me the handle.

I, probably more than most members, have found or tried someone new and, always with the providers permission. Been willing to post a review or comments and share her information. But I always ask her permission in case she wishes to remain UTR. If she chooses UTR and perhaps wants ONLY a few new clients, then I will only contact by private message those trusted members that I believe will enjoy her particular skills or looks.

I don't mind if folks are hard on new posters, the community polices itself, and works.

For the most part, my PMs are in RFIs, not requests for me. That's mostly because I don't frequent the locals, my mongering is out of town. The "don't shit where you eat" mantra applies. If I go local it's either someone I'm sure of, or a total TOFTT in a situation where a girl is someone I think I've run into out of town, so while maybe new to Albany not necessarily new to a traveller.

I only mention this because as a traveller, I do often rely on information from communities like this in other towns, often on other sites. So in that sense I do sympathize somewhat with infrequent but out of town requests. That doesn't mean a healthy dose of skepticism is out of line, or inappropriate, because in my experience real mongers know how give and take works. It's a universal system in my experience, and give is expected before take.

Not really a rant, but the thread is touching a topic I have to deal with in my travels.

Oh and I'm glad to see "Brooke" has gone solo and is getting positive attention. I reviewed her here many months ago and she was excellent. Not really my type, but she puts it all into her sessions and anyone who doesn't have fun with a girl who tries clearly has too small a sample for context.

I have been trying to get together with my 'all time'-ATF and have not been having any luck. I just don't want to drive out to her place. From my comfort zone it is a good 20 minutes one way, maybe more with traffic. Allowing for missed calls and bullshit it would be 50-55 minutes round trip plus the time for the date. So I have not seen her in more than a few months.

Holiday season has arrived and so have the 'I'm available' texts from the aforementioned 'atf'. We have a code so it is not an issue, and she has followed contact procedure without a problem. Problem is that I have spoken to her 4 times in the last 4 days and it has become more than obvious that I represent nothing more than an ATM to supplement the holiday shopping spree.

Now before we get all on the 'I told you so' /'You should know better' bandwagon--believe me when I tell you that I am under no illusions when it comes to this business...and DO NOT get stars in my eyes / or get all misty-eyed thinking about our time together. The issue is the absolute rude nasty attitude I got when I couldn't make our timetables match up. Seriously, after trying to set a meet on Saturday she was hot and heavy to meet ...then 4 hrs until next contact! Obviously, I had made other arrangements and my time to play was over. I told her I couldn't meet and she hung up the phone! WoW very surprised, not like the girl I had seen for years previously, not at all.

No time to play on Sunday :( so... 'thanks, no thanks text' replied to her, and I hear crickets. Usually, she would say sorry hun and maybe tomorrow...yada yada yada. Today the texts came in at 9:30 am, 11:30 and 3 pm and sorry but I'm working so I text, 'I'll call after 6'... and no reply. I call her at 5:55 6:15 6:45 and nothing. I hear back at almost 8 pm and she wants to see me an hour after that. I apologized and said that would not work and she hung-up on me again. Frankly, I was pissed, like really annoyed- pissed. Too bad because I couldn't even begin to explain how much coin I spent on her since 2009-2010 OMFG!.

So I go do some Christmas shopping and got bored and made a few other calls. Destiny was able to see me on short notice...FUN was had by ALL ;).

And I made sure to leave a little extra coin for the Christmas season! Good for Destiny!! Bad for my old friend C'est la vie!!

I had an ATF for a spell before I realized very quickly the same line she was giving me she was giving to him and him and him and him. At that point, I found others to spend time with and eventually weeded her out.

To date, I still get the texts from the former ATF asking for $. I don't think it will ever end!! No, I do not give in and pony up!! Not going to happen.

To add up what I gave her over a short amount of time would have me really pissed off.

What really spins my head around was the rude attitude when she wasn't getting what she wanted. She was all warm and charming when I was trying to set the date. As soon as she realized it wasn't going to work out she got rude, short and hung up.

No problem seeing as I haven't been seeing her 3-4 times per week anymore. I moved on to better things long ago. But it was just a little bit painful to see the true colors of her personality shine through. I have now deleted her from my contact list and have placed several others who actually provide BETTER service ON my ATF list.

There are always options for BOTH sides in this equation- Later 'gator!
