End of news story. But that last sentence is particularly intriguing. It seems to suggest that it's very hard to transmit HIV even if the HIV person is NOT taking meds. At least I guess that's what the words "even in the absence of risk reduction measures" is referring to.

Ever since I read Celia Farber's AIDs articles in SPIN Magazine in the 1980's, I've long had doubts about HIV's relation to AIDs. She was basically quoting scientists back in the mid or late '80's who said HIV does not cause AIDS. There are lots of HIV people who have never shown any signs of AIDS. So there's no need for us to become hysterical. For example, JohnnyRue you were really laying into Recapacitor in the BackPage thread, but I can understand your concern.

Again that scientific study showed that NOT one case of HIV transmission happened in over 34,000 sexual interactions. That's an incredible study and statistic to dismiss. I'm the f'and new guy, but here's how I see it. If Recap is seeing these girls and then giving his endorsement, then it's a +1 over a complete random. Some reviews have more validity than others, some reviews seem to come with an agenda. Long time more experienced guys can readily come to their own conclusion as to who to trust and who to take.

With a grain of salt. Newer players lack that experience filter and can make poor hobby choices because of it. Discussion of this type do add benefit to the group as a whole so guys can make properly informed decisions.
