She then asked if I was 18 and would need me to submit a credit card number or bank card information to some cam site to verify I was who I said I was (I hadn't told her who I was in the first place) before I could get a phone number.
I gave her a story about not using credit cards and bank cards online...especially for this type of activity, and asked her why she needed all that, and she readily had a FoxNews story link from last year of a guy murdering a girl in Minnesota who answered a CL ad for a nanny.
I politely told her that it sounded too much like a scam and I wasn't risking it, and would just keep fucking the Memphis regulars who don't ID me and require credit card numbers.

Hi guys --
I hail from the New England area, and generally play the game up there, but ran across this post and thought I'd chime in, since I have actual experience with this....
I came across the exact same type of CL ad, answered, and began talking with the "girl" via IM, just like you. Her pic was pretty, she was attentive, and I even tested her to see if she had any local knowledge (to ascertain whether she was actually nearby or not). She passed everything.
Then on to negotiations... Same type of story about the webcam CC verification thing. Her story was that as soon as she saw my trial registration go through she would know that I wasn't LE and that she'd IM me her phone number, and we'd talk and make plans to meet up right away. She also said that she'd discount her rate by the amount of the trial registration fee and that after "confirmation" I would be free to cancel my webcams.com account.
I "knew" it was a scam, but for some reason wanted to go down the rabbit hole and see where this all led. I took a CC that I never use, signed up per her instruction, and once she saw the registration come through -- *poof* NOT EVEN ONE SINGLE PEEP FROM HER EVER AGAIN! She just completely disappeared and stopped talking on IM... Just as I thought, but now I know for sure <hits self over head with baseball bat> :rolleyes:
Directly afterward, I called webcam.com customer service, explained what happened and with which webcam model, and they happily and instantly canceled my account and refunded the trial membership charge... I think they see this type of thing a lot.
I have no idea why I even bothered with this -- just out of curiosity, I guess.... I've been mongering long enough and definitely know better.
But there you go... this is how the scams work. They're only designed to earn someone commissions on webcams.com (or similar site's) trial memberships.
Beware pussy that's too good to be true!

P.S. I've been watching the pics posted on the Memphis board for a long time now ... you guys have it made down there! Damn if there aren't just a ton of hotties available for play in your area! If we had half the quality up here in New England that y'all have down there, I'd be completely broke!

Not even if she cooked dinner, washed all the clothes & bed sheets afterwards. I'm thinking with some of these "high priced SW's" there is the same "ignorant pimp" behind them all that has supply & demand all wrong. I bet those phones are getting cobwebs on them. If they all try to quote those prices then the world's oldest profession is about to phase itself out because I'm sure 99% are not going to pay it. Sounds to me like "ignorant pimp" may just have to scales back his life style or get a 2nd job before too long.
