Are we sure this is not the set up
Just one comment.
"Stamping out prostitution" is an impossibility. This "battle" has been going on for much longer than decades. Demand for sexual services is such that it always finds a way. All this can accomplish is to make the business more dangerous for both the seller and the buyer.
And, as always, no evidence of whether or how much actual trafficking is involved.
For one day the legislature to legalize and tax the hell out of it? Right now they are so hurting for state revenues and they have one of the worst state pension unfounded obligations in the country, besides Malloy having used a bunch of fed funds that were for highway and transportation to balance past years budgets, which Lamont has to use for their designation or refund to the feds. So it will be either find new revenue sources or tax everyone out of the state and bankruptcy. This is something if legalized he could pull out of the shadow economy and tax, about as effectively as they do bartenders and waitresses.
Thank you for your feedback

A warning about phone bills and significant others.
Words of warning from a reliable provider.
Apparently a client forgot the fact that while the content of a phone call isn't available, the number appears on the phone bill. And if this number is unfamiliar she (or he, not being judgmental) might call it and ask who is on the other end and why do they know their partner.
So remember, either pay your own bill, or get a different burner number. Or hope your provider will cover for you!
The story told here is true. The names were not used to protect the innocent.
