Hell, I even tip 15-20% for just an average legit massage, as long as they were friendly and personable. Bottom line, it's all up to you and consider all the factors: do you plan on repeating or just one-and-done, are you hoping for a HE on a repeat visit, etc. Most of these massage places are cash only, so you know they're only reporting half (if not less) to Uncle Sam.
I feel like $10 is fine even if the massage was amazing. In this economy today not everyone can afford a $60 massage and $20 tip. At times the MT will get upset if you only tip $10 but too bad. Seriously, is a tip warranted for every service that we get? Hair cut, massage, valet, hotel? Imagine going on a trip and you have to bring $100-$200 singles just to tip the hotel, dining, valet, massage and plus you paying them the regular fee. We would all go broke very fast. I always said if you can't make it in this world by just tips then find a job that pays decent. MT'S better understand no tip no tip. At least they got paid for their services. Not all of us can afford $20. With that said, I usually tip $10-$20 all depending on my financial situation and how good the massage was. I walked out of one place and have zero tip because all the lady did was rub my body. I should of called it quits after 5 minutes but I kept hoping it would get better and I would get a HE but nothing. If the massage absolutely sucks I will tip nothing. I don't feel obligated to tip, I'm tired of tipping.

In my opinion when someone provides you with a good service you should compensate them for it. If the valet keeps your car up front and bolts to get it when he sees you approaching, tip the person. If your barber hooks you up with a great haircut, tip the person (especially this person). If you're going in for a massage because your back is all knotted up and get a great massage, but no HE, can't be all salty if you don't get HE, and give a lame tip, because you went there for your pain. If you want guarantee HE you know where to go and what the price is for that service. Most of the time it's sub par massage w / HE but you still giving that. 60 tip. If the massage blows all around tip accordingly, or not at all, and maybe they'll get the hint to improve their services. But overtipping while certainly honorable and generous just helps ensure that your favorite legit mt never has to cross over to the darkside. So you're cutting your own throat if you tip 40 $ for legit but 60 $ for happy ending. For that small 20 $ difference your lady doesn't have to wash the cum off her hands after every appointment. And eventually the HE girls will charge more since they hear that theyre stroking your flabby self for ONLY 20 $ more LOL. Tip away bros.
