Even though you missed the warning signs, you also could've limit your damage to just time wasted by not paying up front. Never pay up front. Never pay a deposit. If you do, you're just asking to be jacked. Some guys think with the little guy too much and forget we have the leverage (so we make the demands, not the lady.

I definitely shouldn't have forked anything upfront. I do this very sporadically and I haven't had enough "field" experience to remember all of these logistics etc. Do you always pay at the end with all providers? Or only the ones that are poorly reviewed / lower end women? Also what do you usually say when they ask at the beginning?
