As for the prevalence of STDs in general, there was a study done several years ago of providers in the various mongering venues: streetwalkers, brothels (massage/relaxation parlors), and callgirls.
...STD prevalence at the brothel level was very low, in fact, lower than the researchers were expecting. Prevalence among the callgirls/escorts they tested was virtually non-existant!
It is difficult to guess the risk getting infected when mongering.
Candy Addict is right that street walkers have a higher rate of
infections than AMP girls and escorts. From studies
elsewhere is clear that persistent condom use by the providers
is the key to avoid infections.
Studies in Germany have shown the STD prevalence in brothels is very,
very low. This is because of consistent use of condoms and the providers
get frequent medical check-ups. A study from 1990 of over 3,600 female providers in Mexico found only 0.4% HIV positive, but 25% have had STD at some point. About 60% used condoms consistently. What helped limit HIV infections was the fact that only 1.4% were IV drug addicts.
In Thailand (LOS), HIV infection among prostitutes rates varies with region,
from 40-50% in Chiang Mai (1989) to about 10% in Bangkok. The
providers in Bangkok have HIV subtype E, that is easier to transmit
during unprotected heterosexual sex than HIV, subtype B, which is prevalent in the US and Europe.
As long as you use protection for FS you should be OK, except for a
risk of herpes. I am still amazed that some providers agree to BBFS.
In fact, last time I was at an AMP, after a little BBBJ and DATY action,
the girl suggested BBFS. I told her I preferred a cover ...
Be safe!
I don't have much to add to what Myren, CA, and Hypo said.
But it is really true what Hypo said about female to male infections being less common. I was even told so at the Diamond Head clinic, when I went for a 'check-up'. But it does happen. I, for one, have been lucky.
If you're still paranoid but absolutely must partake in our hobby, use a condom for every part of the deal. And they say that washing yourself right afterwards has a slight benefit. Even if you're at an AMP, I've been offered chances to take showers afterwards, so if you ask, I'm sure they won't mind.
But other than that, do what I do and get yourself checked out once in a while. That won't stop your risk of infection, but for me, it gives me peace of mind - not before the results come back (that one week wait is torture!), but afterwards.
Now I just have one more thing to worry about. About a week ago on MSN news, they had an article about HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). They said it is a sexually transmitted disease, it doesn't seem to affect males except to make them carriers, and has a tendency to disappear many times in both sexes without any medical intervention. No outward symptoms.
So, what's bad about it? They say that the infections of women can lead to cervical cancer. I nearly s**t my pants after I read that. If I didn't misread it, the article said that in every case of cervical cancer in their study, the HPV was present. So it seemed to say that cervical cancer would not occur if not for HPV. I sounded like BS to me. So, that would mean that a female virgin could never get cervical cancer? I know that ovarian cancer is a whole different thing, but that study's results seemed odd. It also said that an estimated 40-50% of the sexually active population has it at any given time, but it usually goes away on its own - going unnoticed and causing no harm. Still bad news, though.
As if STDs weren't bad enough - now they cause cancer!

Yes, this has been known for many years. HPV comes in a number of variants, all with at least some potential to cause cervical cancer. The good news is that the vast majority of the cases are caused by just 2 variants (I think it's 2...) and there is now a very effective vaccine for those two variants. The key is to vaccinate girls before they're ever exposed to the virus. There's a push to start vaccinating girls at age 12 for this. Unfortunately, some social conservatives are pushing hard against this because they believe that 1) their daughters will abstain until marriage, and 2) they cling to the misguided notion that by vaccinating young girls for an STD, that would encourage them to go out and have sex. We could make cervical cancer rare in one generation if not for this type of thinking.
I also second Hypo's post about male to female vs. female to male transmission of HIV. It's very difficult for a female to infect a male. Yes it happens, but only rarely. Some studies suggest that it usually takes multiple exposures to an HIV-infected female. Single-exposure transmission is possible, but it's extremely rare, and seems to require the male to have a cut, sore, or a current/previous infection with another STD. The person on the receiving end of the semen is the one most at risk. Partly, this is due to the physical design of the "plumbing." And partly, it's because of the concentration of HIV in various body fluids. In blood and semen, the concentration is usually high. In vaginal fluid, it's much lower. In saliva, it's extremely low. Also, saliva appears to contain something that tends to kill or weaken HIV, minimizing the possibility of transmitting it that way.
Bottom line: there is always some risk to this hobby, but that risk has been hyped out of proportion by people with an agenda. We each have to decide, for ourselves, how much risk we're willing to accept and then act accordingly. For some, very little risk is acceptable. Others can accept quite a bit. I respect whatever choice each monger makes.

As much as I hate parting with $$, I could not resist a visit to MIMI at PT. I had the usual great table shower, a little head was provided during that part too as we were drying off.
The massage was decent followed by exceptional tongue action to all the right areas, excellent BBBJ and multiple positions before the finish.
I haven't visited Mimi in about 4 months or so. I don't remember her having nicely enhanced breasts. When did she get them? I remember Tina having them done. I only get to HI about 2 times a year though. Maybe I am mixing them up.
Anyway, if you can afford to visit HI, make a visit to MIMI at PT.

Called King's (formerly Tenguko's Spa near Kaheka St.) on Sunday evening to try Pinky (of Imperial, formerly Milky Way, and M Palace). Was told that she quitted. Disappointed. Went in anyway and tried Donna. Best table shower: she cleans your balls and anus simultaneously. But alas, no anal rimming. $. 5 at door, and $1. 5 f/s. Would not repeat.
Stopped by today. Bebe is on a week vacation and Gina is no longer working there.
Went to CH the other night looking for April. Not there. Mama told me she get pretty girl for me. In came Yumi. Ok in the low light. Body looked good so I kept her. Massage was lame. She was pushing on my back more then massaging. So I decided to give her a massage. Body not so hot once she took off her dress, but I was beyond the point of no return. So I stradled her ass and massaged her back. My boy was peaking in her hole every time I kneaded her back with an up stroke. I wanted to see how far I could get, and I was suprised that she would actually let me go BB if I wanted to. With only the tip of my head in, I stopped and asked her to get a rubber. She seemed genuinely bumbed about my request. NFW would I go all the way w/o wet suit. The usual positions. Nothing special. Still would go back to CH, but be more picky about my picks.
Hey, good evening guys (and girls)! Sorry to interupt your flow of posts here. And I know it's odd for a provider to post anything on here (psst. Even though providers all read it, some if not all: p). I am aware its none our/my business, nor am I offended at all by any means by any of your posts (props and love to those who posted positives though! ). I just wanted to add my two cents for what its worth. But anyways, here it goes.
I read some/several of the posts about me is by far NOT accurate to my knowledge. I actually, for one, was humored to read some of the things posted about my friends and/or myself. LOL no offense taken, nor let it disturb the flow of your posts you guys have going here already.
IMHO, I am a pretty good judge for character and can remember most, if not all, of my customers and most experiences with each. I admit, I am bad with names though (unless you are a chassy/chassie or sonyim aka meaning "regular customer" by what we say). But honestly, I am just as human as all of you, and I have feelings like everyone else. Don't get me wrong, I know where and what we do for work isn't the most ideal job, but I honestly, I don't ever allow "work" to have any affect on my personal life. Yes, I know my type of work selection does entitle all types of situations, so I'm I hope I am not giving off the impression that I expect this type of occupation to be treated at its best. Its just work. However, I do enjoy meeting and spending a lot of my time with sweet and respectful customers who show me the same respect! which gets me to my next point, is that my reason (s) as to my decision to work during the daytime is because my findings is because customers tend to be more pleasant and genuine (not saying none of the nightimers aren't! ) while on their work hours/breaks. Thus, I try to make it the most enjoyable as I have learned it to be, whether with a customer or with my "co-workers" (haha, sounds odd for me to unofficially call them that) and not by their "experience" they've had with me or judge me for what I do or look like. I am not asking or saying its wrong to judge because I know this is the whole purpose for this forum. To share your personal experiences, sights, sounds, and as grotesque as it sounds. Taste and smell too! Hahaha).
But what I am trying to get at (and I apologize if I am boring some of you) is that if you were one who posted inaccurate experiences you've had as my customer, I am SURE you know who you ARE! Both you and I know the real truth, and honestly, if I wasn't so "into it" as you claim, it must've been because I wasn't so into YOU or personally, and/or the way you treated me. And btw, what makes me think I wanted you to pick me anyway! Shoulda told me so I didn't need to waste time giving you a "lame massage". LMAO!
I am japanese/korean and 26 years old! Not 30s, not 40s, or even near close to my 50s! Haha, boy I guess some people must not be good at determining my age. But I'll tell you right off the bat, just so some of you don't get turned off by reading inaccurate posts, that I just started working at CS (not CH silly! And its APPLE, not April! ) about half year ago or so, I came from another spa because I moved closer to town, bartending at the kbars, as well as back from the mainland. I will admit that I just had implant and tummy surgery about a year ago and some parts of my body are extra sensitive (in fact, more sensational) which explains why I have a see-section looking scar across my abdomin (OK, too much info! But its not a see-section! ). But anyways, what was my point here. Oh yah, I was going to confess that yes I am not the most kinkiest or flexible provider you'll meet that does (for example) anal and what not (most providers from other spas we keep in contact with agree! But do it for you know why. LOL). If you're one of them who would prefer that, then look elsewhere or at least ask, instead of penalizing/rating girls who don't. I'm conservative and sort of reserved, which explains the inaccuracy about me going BB. I would honestly would never. I know some customers request/enjoy BB, but think twice about protecting yourself, as well as us, the providers
Good luck and happy camping.

Yes, there is an AMP located on the second floor of that building and it's called Ginger's (1694 Kalakaua Avenue, at the Fern Street corner). The entrance for Ginger's is at the rear of the building. I haven't been there in quite a while, but whenever I went there in the past, full service was always available and the women were Korean.
Because I hadn't visited Ginger's for a long time and I recently read that it was under new management, I decided to take a look on Thursday night. When I arrived at about 9:00 p.m., the ground-floor entrance door was locked and the "Open" sign in the second-floor window was turned off. At around 10:30 p.m., I happened to be in that area again and Ginger's was still closed. There was no sign explaining the closure, so maybe it was only temporary.

This is yumia from CS.
The message from Alohashorts that you quote refers to Yumi of Crystal Healing, not Yumia of CS (presumably China Spa). You say that you're "26 years old." I've been with Yumi at Crystal Healing, and she is definitely not that age. It seems that you've incorrectly assumed that the message by Alohashorts was about you, but actually that message was about a completely different person.
Well, even though you mistakingly assumed his post was about you Yumia, I (and I'm sure many others) appreciated your honest (saying who you were, etc.) posting.
Phew! My apologies guys! I am relieved to know that I wasnt refered to you guys are great and thanks for letting me know how retarded I may have sounded. Honest mistake! You know, as self conscious as this sounds, I was starting to look at myself in the mirror with my co-workers and asked them if they thought I looked old! Hahahahahaha! Dammit, I wish my name wasnt so common.
Stopped by for the first time last Sunday and the only girl outside was Marie. I'd say she's in her early 30's, A's and a decent face and small body. Was told to shower myself and usual service followed. CBJ, little rimming, CG, Doggie. L=7 S=8 A=8

It's nice and refreshing to hear from the providers and to get their input.
(a thread by providers about their customers perhaps?) o.O'
