A2[/BLUE][/QUOTE]Borderline spamming is still not necessary and somewhat disrespectful, especially when he posted in the rather irrelevant sections / threads (such as Joliet, which is quite far away from where the ripoff occurred, not as what he claimed that just posting nearby burbs). It's not just 5 times.
His postings has been good and contributing, he is nice to people. He is active. He has every good reason to spread the word out. And his content is good and valuable. But the way he posted is still excessive and thus counter-productive. Netiquette is still something we care about, right?
More importantly, if he is a well-regarded senior, he should know the differences of the purpose of different sub sections. He could address that in his post, say posting in the Escort report section for example, and even including something like "apologies for cross-posting" would have been nice and respectful. I'm only speak for myself and not arguing with him. But netiquette and respect should be a two way street between readers and posters. So this is why I reported his post on escort report section for consideration of removal. Not because his content, his intention, or how rude he treated people. Plus, there are still posts under the relevant burbs sections and here the BP report section. removing a couple from the less relevant sections will not undo what he hopes to achieve anyway.
[BLUE]When I first got reports of this guy I pulled up his last 25 posts and started reviewing them. There were a couple where he was fighting back with the guys who called him out for spamming. Then there were five posts about this "crackhead chick that robbed him" then there were a few that were just talking. At that point I assumed the five were all he posted and stopped looking.
Today after the action I took I got multiple messages from guys saying he posted 20 times and I looked up his last 50 posts and checked them all. I was wrong, he was spamming the forum with many more than the I originally saw. While I still think the guys who were being dicks about it were being dicks, "calling out" is always against the rules because that bullshit just gets added to the original bullshit and we end up with bullshit squared I was indeed wrong in my original assessment of the OP's act I left the original two reports in the correct thread and have removed the spam.
