I've often thought of making a list for newbies to follow:

1. Always park on the other side of the building and walk around.

2. If directed to park on the east side of the hotel, park on the west side. If asked what color car you're driving, make something up.

3. Never carry anything of value into the room, only car keys.

4. Split the money up into multiple pockets for negotiating reasons.

5. Never see a provider with a Las Vegas area code number! (702).

6. Never see a provider that has professional photos, they probably aren't her.

7. Check the bathroom, do the LE check, then wait to see if there's a knock at the door. Be patient.

8. Arrive early but don't text at that time. See if anyone comes out of the room. If you see a pimp texting and looking nonchalant anywhere in the area, leave. He's only there for one reason.

9. Use a burner app on your phone.

10. "Give me 10 minutes" is usually time enough to set the trap, and you're the prey.

#1, 2, 5, 6, 8, and 10 are new to me, although I've never been asked for the color of my car, nor directed to park in a certain place.

#3, 4, 7, 9, and 11, I practice now.

#3 -- I had a car with the keypad entry, so I could lock my keys inside the car. I loved that feature.

And the addendum to #8 did happen to me -- not the knock on the door, but the woman attempting to either leave or let in the pimp to hand over my money. Never made that mistake again.

Although, to be candid, I have not needed to use a BP provider for many months now that I have a couple of girls I can see regularly.
