They knew my name and I couldn't remember ever telling it to them, so it spooked me a bit and I stopped going. I have never understood the reasoning behind doing that. Another example is when people put $$ or $$$ instead of just saying 200 or 300 or they will make it even worse by saying $$50 instead of 250. Just make it simple. One thing I haven't seen too much on the MN board, although I have seen, but is quite common on boards in other cities / states is that instead of saying they went to a place or saw a certain provider they start out by saying they had a dream about this or that. You didn't have a dream, you actually went there. There used to be an edit button, not sure if they got rid of it or if it only lasts for so long after you make the post.
