I guess that one man's hobby is another man's addiction. I always thought of myself as more of a hobbyist, because I can, and have stopped, when conditions didn't seem to make the risks worthwhile.

For me, I've been able to start and stop on many occasions. For example, when money has run tight and the $.50 per pop MP's just don't seem to fit the budget, I'll venture over to SW land. I can certainly refrain from spending money on any given day/night, but I do find myself drawn to being around the "sex environment" quite frequently. For me I notice that the HUNT is more fun sometimes than the actual find. I think that searching, whether the hunting/gathering gene we have from olden days, or from trying to play cops and robbers as kids, kicks in. I like the adventure, maybe some of the danger that goes with our chosen hobby. I too sometimes incorporate a known area into my daily errands, whether consciously or not. I have dozens of #s of girls over the years that I dont call, even though it would be safer and cheaper sometimes, but enjoy the "fix" from the hunt.

Every one on here is a sex addict, so no reason to point fingers! Its just that some people are more financially able to act on their urges, or are single, or work the late night hours! Malibu has been kind enough to share his experiences with us and because of him I've saved my self a lot of grief and money by avoiding the girls he has tried out and dated some of the girls he has! One last thing to Reacher... I have a family member who has suffered from addiction for over 40 years, so I'm very aware of the signs and the repetitive cycle the addiction entails. Starting and stopping, or waxing and waning periods, if you will, are very much a part of it. Also, the shame, guilt, remorse. I accepted this for many years, but when these 3 characteristics rear their ugly heads, this forum is here for me to vent. But, you are right in one respect, the addiction allows for certain risks, and the rationalization aspect of addiction many times leads to poor decision making. I won't argue that, but despite that, I still treat the providers with respect, even a lost soul like A. Not everybody is nice, and yes the hobby is about getting laid, but at the end of the day, I have a conscience and truly wish the best for all people. The forum is a great way to express our emotions, whether genuine or sometimes insensitive.

Made 3 passes down and up the track from 7:30 to 9:30pm today. Not much activity, some LEO presence. Saw one slim young (mid 20's maybe) BSW in a yellow top and daisy dukes, but didn't feel like partaking. Stopped at McD's at Mcfadden and ate some Nuggets, while browsing the forum and CL on my phone. Let 30 mins or so pass, and make one more pass. Hobbying is an addiction. I have been doing it since the early 80's. It ruined marriages and relationship. I still do it from time to time. Rarely commiting the act I flurted with SW with only talks.
I advise you not to do it because I got busted twice for only talking. I drove away from the scene for a mile and the Undercover still fraudulently and manufactured false report to convicting me eventhough I had no intent of carrying out the act by driving away.
This is not the topic why I am posting. I Rarely date SW until I sense that they are "new" in the business from sensing their body language and demeaner. Decoys often are attractive and different from the typical SWs. So beware because I learned it the hard way. You must apply all 22 monger rules.

B Malibu and all of the other respectable mongers on here, I have total respect for each and every one of you and find myself in many different states, and even some other countries but choose to only post in Cali, and sometimes Vegas, because I feel you guys are the most solid and dedicated in the game. Thats why I always make sure to send my girls out the right way and take pride in knowing that mine are not part of the bullshit you guys have to go through from so many of the other girls.
