I never thought of it as an addiction, Bmalibu
Just checking out this thread as I always do and that post by bmalibu kind of hit home, I never thought of it as an "addiction" as dumb as that may sound. Western and Fig are where I normally go but thought I'd say whats up to the OC mongers, you guys should check out these tracks
Girl I dated today that I reported on said she works Harbor also.
Hard to tell sometimes...
I guess that one man's hobby is another man's addiction. I always thought of myself as more of a hobbyist, because I can, and have stopped, when conditions didn't seem to make the risks worthwhile.
For me, I've been able to start and stop on many occasions. For example, when money has run tight and the $.50 per pop MP's just don't seem to fit the budget, I'll venture over to SW land. I can certainly refrain from spending money on any given day/night, but I do find myself drawn to being around the "sex environment" quite frequently. I dunno', I'm just very much attracted to the action, so much in fact, that cruising the track is typically a part of my daily/nightly routine.
Mongering has been a part of my routine not because I can't get a girl, but rather... because I tend to get bored being around the same women. I love the variety this game has to offer. Compulsive and impulsive? Definitely! True addiction? The verdict is still out.
No reason for anyone here to throw stones....
You know I have always watched some of you say stuff that is really "the pot calling the kettle black". From what I can tell all of us have some deep problems or we wouldnt be here looking or out there hunting, so anything you say about MALIBU or anyone else is really you reflecting on your own evils. No reason to be unkind, we are all here to share and learn and help, so be kind rewind................
You are definitely addicted. I see all the warning signs. BBBJ's from infected ho's nightly. Risk LE interactions daily. Falling for any & every sob story.
Pretending to feel for the ho's & then turn around & continue to enable Ashton with your behavior. Very cavalier & dangerous.
You must be a bartender somewhere. Allways out at 3 am.

Can't we all just get along & monger in peace?
This is where this post should have stopped, in my opinion.

Not my intention to derail thread
Please excuse me if derailed this thread. I was simply making a comment about "addiction" no one here should have anything to say about another fellow hobbyist or his behavior. We all have something in common Which is why we come here in the first place.
I value B MALIBU's posts as high as they come on here.
Exactamente mi amigo! I like the analogies you used as they totally ring true!
Another track in LA is getting busy
I know of lot of you also venture out to the tracks in LA as well. Just wanted to give you guys a quick heads up on a new (at-least to me) track near DT that seems to be getting real busy and I was able to sample the scene last week. See my report from last week - http://www.system.info/forum/showpost.php?p=1050072&postcount=134
Saw some of the crew that used to work Harbor a few months back working there.
Take care,
