A local provider that went to an outcall appointment (June 2012) and the guy asked if she had a friend for a 3-some. She called another local provider that she works with and they both got busted for prostitution. During the debriefing at the LE station, the ladies were asked to give up any information on drug dealers in exchange they would drop all charges. They had no information to give so they gave them both a 400 fine then released.
The LE officer told these two that they are not looking for providers, they are looking for ladies that are posted on Backpage that look to have a drug problem, then trap them in a sting. They also indicated they have been monitoring these two and others.
Conclusion: If you are a guy in the hobby that likes to visit local ladies (especially these young flaky ones) that are in any way associates in the drug world (from Greer. Greenville) you are placing yourself at risk. In this hobby, find a nice local 35 or older lady that is low volume provider and that is drug free before you fall into one of these stings.

I echo that statement. My observation is there appears to be heightened LE activity along the I-85 corridor. The seedy motels at exit 46 have been places to avoid for a long time.
