Depending on your usage, it may be a better deal. If just for mongering, you may not need 300 minutes a month. Tracfone currently offers 2 for 1 minutes for life when you buy their phone and card last 90 days so you don't have to refill each month. 12 bucks for a flip phone but texting sucks as you have to cycle thru each number button for your letter. I've been searching for a mid level one with a slider keypad or touch screen as texting is much easier. Everyplace sold out. Let us know how your search goes. FH69.

After initial activation, you just buy more air time cards. I use a TracFone. Comes with minutes and I get double minutes for life. I used to get a new fone every few months, but adding the ladies contact info was a PITA.

BTW, you also need either a good hiding place or a good cover story for that fone. Maybe you should have both in case your parole officer finds it.

I bought an H2 O Wireless "sim card" and charged $100 for a year on my credit card at 5 cents a minute. Now I am thinking since the company has my CC info it is not an anonymous phone. Anyone have insight on this, I am not a phone Guru.

You are correct, since you used your credit card there is a name to that phone. I buy Tracfones with cash and pay cash for the minutes to avoid a connection to a name at all.

I cancelled on a girl once and then she wouldn't answer my calls until I did this with a new number and then all was fine. I personally delete the app after I use it, basically making your extra phone line available for only the times you want it.
