I understand what your going through. Although I have not had an STD(I get checked every 6 months or so), I did have a serious scare quite a while back when I was with a girl and the condom broke. It's scary as shit having to wonder about stuff like that and it doesn't help that you have to wait around 3 months before you can even get a test done from the last time of possible exposure.

It's always best to be safe with everything you do, but the odds of getting a major STD aside from herpes from oral sex is quite low. So I'm sure you'll be okay.

Best of luck to you and if you haven't already, find a good friend or if possible your SO to help you through this.

PS. As for getting retested every 6 months, although it can't hurt to be safe, as long as you wait the 3 months from last contact even the CDC states that multiple retests are most likely not necessary. Current test are extremely effective at picking up ANY trace as long as you wait long enough before the test. So when you get the results back, try bot to let it keep looming that it could be a false negative. Odds are great that it is correct.

One of the nurses there asked me about my sex life and if I did any local sw's. She then told me that there are NINETEEN (19) local sw's being treated there for a variety of std's and that ELEVEN (11) also were HIV+

5.)That pretty much blew my mind at those totals and then when I saw Tammy there as well (no, I don't know what she has but the odds are not good)

6.)I've retired from active ho'ing and while I did have a good run for over 20 years out there the end results SUCK and again I never even did anything BB except for bj's.

7.)I just wanted to point out the HIGH RISK of the streets right now and to let you know about things so you can get tested as well. Basically, if you've been with Jenny or Harmony and did anything bb you better find out before it lingers too long.

The most important thing to always keep in mind is that nobody chooses to become a SW. Their life was a mess BEFORE they hit the streets, and most of the time drug habits are involved. A habit will make a user do anything, including unsafe sex, with terrible consequences.

Guys, never forget that each time you hook up, your health may be in the balance. I'm certainly not judging anyone here, it's just that PP's post should really make everyone think. Getting laid isn't THAT important.

Your absolutely right, but don't forget that in general the reason why STD are so common is because people do not take care of themselves and get checked. This applies to everyone and not just people who participate in this hobby.

Is the girl at your local bar any cleaner than your local sw?(I know this could be argued, but I'm just making a point)

The bottom line is:

1. Having sex with multiple partners put you at higher risk
2. Take precautions and wrap it up.
3. Get tested
4. Don't go out if you think you may have something

Ouch. Even though Providence has an active street scene, those numbers are scary (esp. the active SWs with HIV). Here's hoping for a clean bill of health on your follow-up visits, PP. If I may ask, did you experience any symptoms or just get checked based on the intel you gathered?

I didn't mention it in my previous post, but Tammy was perfectly willing to go BB without a word. I find that with a lot of 40-something SWs. A lot of times I grab the $$$ but neglect to grab a condom at the same time. Many of the older women will simply lie back when the BBBJ portion is over, without question. Guys, this is really good information being passed on and should be taken well. One thing that would help, especially for those requiring high degrees of descretion, would be any thoughts and/or locations for places for testing.

Confidentiality should be highly valued at any clinic, by law.

I'm not sure what you guys have in RI, but if you have any Planned Parenthood's up there, I've had good luck with them. Plus if you don't have much cash to spare, there prices are based off income.(if your not using insurance)

So hit the streets last night, after the bars closed. Was DEAD everywhere, with exception on 1 tranny & 1 old hag. Did all the usual areas and then some. Crusied till about 3:00am when was on my way home via cranston st. I spy one pretty decent one walking up a side st of cranston. Went up the next street back to the street she was on. Hops right in, the usual few questions ect. Not I should mention I was felling no pain, in fact was quite buzzed. But she was cute brown hair, nice bod, dressed decent. Says her name is Tony, and she does not usually work the streets. She had no idea where to go, so we just headed out of the area, and found a nice quite parking lot. Was out and about in good ole providence yesterday, and had a ton of extra time between appointments so I figured I would cruise the usual locations. I was there for close to three hours in the Elmwood/Cranston street area and I swear it was a ghost town. I think maybe I saw one SW and even that was not a sure thing! WTF, is it that bad out there? I was there from around noon till 3pm and it was like tumble weeds of the old west..... the one who I think was a SW was a bit older, Blonde hair tied back in a pony tail and wore glasses. She was actually pretty good looking and had what appeared to be a decent body! She had a tight white top which showed a nice pair of big "B" cups and a pair of tight jeans which highlighted a nice looking body. Even though she was older she really looked pretty good. I was driving by the Walgreens when i noticed her walking and she did kinda give me the look but it was one that could have been mistaken by me. I spun around and parked in the Walgreen parking lot just as she walked by throught the lot. It looked like she went in the Walgreens, so i waited for some time for her to come out, but he funny thing was is she did not and I got tired of waiting so left. I think maybe I misjudged that she went in and she had just walked around the corner and down the side street there.

As I was sitting there I think there was another Monger in a big pickup truck sitting there a few cars down. Knowing that area very well, the older looking WSW sounds to me like Tammy, I don't know if you have ecountered her, but the description fits her to a T. As for seeing hot SWS at the wrong time, it happens alot, I have done that lots of times, I have someone in the car, or I just finished doing a date etc but I figure out I may get another shot, and usually if I go back in the course of the day, or the next day, I get lucky. In my opinion most (new to me ) SWS stay at least 2-3 days in one area, before moving on etc.

Actually if you look at the top of the forum page you will see an ad for confidential std testing. it isn't there all the time but if you wait it will show up. I'm guessing it is above board since it is on this site and I do know of some of the addressed listed in Boston. Would be interested in if anyone has tried it.

On 4 separate occasions, all mid-afternoons (3-30 or so), I have seen this HOT black girl and she may be a walker or a civilian.
