Thanks for sharing your unexpected "encounter" with those two BSWs. I have also bumped into a SW unexpectedly during the course of my normal daily routine. Fortunately for me, I was alone when it happened. When I was walking to work one day, this woman approached me and asked if I recognized her. Immediately, I thought about this SW from L Street that I had not seen in a few years, but I was not sure if it was her. I knew that the woman would have been offended if she wasn't who I thought she was so I just told her that I recognized her face but could not remember where from. This woman was not shy at all about stating where I had seen her before. She just started naming street corners: 14th & L, 11th & NY Ave, 13th and K. Great story, although I do feel sorry for you.
I have also run into some ladies in public places, but the results couldn't have been more different. In every case, the young lady would quietly acknowledge me (and I her) but would not do anything that could potentially embarass me in front of my companions.

I have decided to visit Spring Spa in springfield, Va on Backlick road and I was so pissed off when I walked out the door.
I've walked in and met by mamasan and she showed me to the room and few minutes later, petit korean girl walked in and said hello. Her name was Paula. She is about 5ft 2 with normal face and ok body. So far so good. Walked over to TS and she was just going through the motion and barely touched any important places. I was thinking " Shit this could be bad night" Anyway, so far it was not a disaster yet. I said yes and I should have said "NO" but I was horny as hell at that time. She than asked for money up front , another bad sign. Anyway, I gave her $100 and she said " next time bring $120". Watchout mongers, if you ever get to Spring Spa do not ask for Paula and I would recommend that you think twice before you decided to go there.

I have been to Mirage at night before mucho times. Usually when they are open, the light on the porch is on and you can kind of make out some light coming from the windows (even though they're covered).
When I was there a couple of nights ago, the porch light was off, there clearly were no lights on inside, and there was a sign on the front door.
That's why I say it looked closed to me.

I read the Draft Legislation that Linda Cropp is putting forth to the City Council. The propsed legislation would allow the US Attorney or any community based organization to file an action against, enjoin abate or prevent a prostitution related nuisance. It also requires to limit the practice of massage to licensed therapists and redefine the term massage estsablishments. Also you get charged once for prostitution they close your business. This is what Glendenning did in Maryland. I think they need to be looking after real criminals and not ones that you never see. Getting rid of AMP's is wrong. It is very rare that you have a problem in one of these places. Yea, I have seen some guys drunk that kick holes in the walls or mistreat a girl. But no cops are called unless it is out of hand. They should figure some other way to regulate if that is what they want. Put a tax on it. 9% tax, that would create more revenue for the city. Guys, it looks like this bill will pass and if it does where do we go? Just my thoughts on what may be the end of one of my favorite past times.

All this also reminds me of one of the reasons I hardly hit the Loop much anymore.
There is a resturant by my house that I frequent and a bartender/server there whom I sort of dig on. So one day I'm having lunch at the bar and we're chatting and she tells me how tired she is. I ask why and she said the night before she started volunteering for a group called, ready guys, HIPS. She siad she was out giving condems and candy to prostitutes all night, trying to show them the light.
Now, I don't not hit the Loop b/c of this bartender chick, but her story was just so close to home that I took some time off and haven't really gone out hunting much since.

Motorback is right, but here's a quick compromise - read the comprehensive post by distinguished WSG Senior Member LoveLOS here on the DC board, posted on 01-02-2004. It can be found on page 31 (if this is page 1) and will tell you all you need to know, including addresses, etc.
I'm sure that you could stay more than 1 hour, but obviously both the house fee and the expected tips would be greater than the standard fees for 1 hour of $60 house and $100 tip. The extra amount would vary from AMP to AMP but would most likely be about the same (1 1/2 hours = $90 house fee, 2 hours = $120 house fee, etc.).

Sounds like you did more or less the right things, it is always best to say nothing and just put the money on a table nearby and most importantly, don't let her take it until you are finished with her and of course, you don't touch it either but you can still threaten her with it.
I have been burned once with a girl who didn't want to do anything except back and hands massage. I reminded her about the money and all but with that batchy attitude, I also picked up the Jackson 5 (100) on the way out the door in addition to complaining to mamasan. Apparently a few reminders was not enough and she thought I was bluffing. Enough complaints from different guys on same girl and they are out of there, err at least transferred to another AMP unfortunately.

Just saw the 11:00 news on channel 4 and the story was about a big street prostitution bust on Eastern Avenue in Northeast. I don't recall seeing any posts on that area before. Is someone holding back intel, or is that neighborhood just so bad no self-respecting monger would ever want to go there? Probably the latter but anyone know anything about it? Personally never been past 14th and K. Ha.
