Parked near the jack in the box very close to the border entrance before crossing. I arrived on Friday and visited the shops along Revolution. I tried Verde & Crema, which had awesome pork belly tacos and seared yellow tail sashimi. Place was packed on Saturday night with tons of patrons and fine ass girls. Bros were tossing money on the girls like it was Monopoly money. Overall, it was an awesome trip. Thanks to Captain Solo, we went to Mr Pampas for some bomb-ass Brazilian AYCE BBQ. I had to rest for 2 hrs before going back to HK again. This trip was memorable. Post pandemic, prices have gone up to $100 for 30 min, I would get the VIP card at Tropical for $40 for 3 months since it'll give you extra time, 1 free drink per day, free ride back to border, and the hotel looks newer as well. I recommend bringing your own condom since the Magnum is way too thick to feel anything. Happy hunting bros.

The spicy shrimp quesadilla at bar Gloria is good. The taco stand at HK's corner serves probably the juiciest and most delicious beef and pork tacos in Mexico, only $1.25 each. A noob ordered 4 tacos, could only eat 2 and a half and had to give up.
Mr. Pampas and Churrascaria do Brasil are good BBQ, no more discount, about $20 a head, beers $2, not too bad. Down the street from Mr Pampas, 260 Grado Korean grill and Bar AYCE costs only $13 a head, all kinds of meats.
Tropical VIP card is cheaper $40. Rizzo de Oro's rooms are larger, newly remodeled and the wait is usually shorter. You can bring HK and Chavelas girls over.
Tijuana is a fun place for good food, hot girls, cheap beers, all night partying and costs little.

Early on when I started going down, I went down loaded with cash, credit cards, Apple watches, etc. After my first trip, I scaled it WAY back. No watch or jewelry. One credit card, identification (PAssport / GE card) and at most $500 USD. The $500 is separate from my main wallet too. No more that $200 in my main at any one time. That way, if I get hustled by the cops (which hasn't happened to me yet) I likely will be out a smaller nut. I also like to go when it is "off peak" meaning when it isn't as busy. I tend to not linger past dark too much, but I fly solo. If you have an entourage, safety in numbers. For me, if it doesn't look safe, probably should go elsewhere. Risk mitigation 101.
To date, probably over a dozen trips in the past 12 months (all within 3 week long trips west), I have never had an issue. I stay in San Diego in a higher end hotel, so I sleep soundly knowing I am 30 minutes to heaven in ZN.
I carried a full wallet every time I am in Tijuana for 22 years, never lost anything.
End of February I was sitting near HK's main stage, took the wallet out to pay for a couple fichas. An hour later I could not find it. It must have fallen out of my jacket and someone took it. If HK's people found it, they would have returned it to the management, without the cash of course.
Had to cancel all credit cards and applied for the GE replacement, got it in a week. Drove back in the SENTRI lane twice without GE card. CBP waved me through without problems. CBP has cameras in the lane to record audio / video, also to read car license plates for verification. HSI and CBP have been very nice to me.
I would hide all my cash and leave token amount in my wallet in case policias shakes me down. If they don't see the cash they won't search or squeeze you.

A guy has been known to take 3 scam putas women into the clubs and pimp them out. They look like chunky housewives, mid 30's, not too attractive. My wingman took one up to the hotel for $60, said she was very horny, made a lot of noise.

Been going to TJ for over a decade before I knew about the Zona and I can tell you things are different else where. I have been pickpocketed at Strip Club in TJ. Have been through many hustle attempts. When it used to be easier to walk to the Zona I have been hustled walking from the Zona back to the Border by the cops with the help of an American.
Inside the Zona or cab ride to Zona I have felt safe.

Girls are usually up and about and usually give great prices. Being from New England, I am an early riser out west due to the time change. I use that to window shop for hot putas!
