Honolulugirl provides requested clarity re: attitude and missed sessions
Out of curiousity, did you have an attitude towards ALL mongers or were you a YMMV bad attitude case. In other words, were only SOME guys lucky to be with you or was it like ALL guys were lucky to be with you? I ask because this may shed light on a girlz perspective of the dynamic in a pay for play situation.
I believed I responded to people's attitude toward me. I bought into the myth that approach determines response. If someone was rude to me, then they got what they deserved, I thought. But I have had a deeper revelation about the issue of attitude. Approach doesn't determine response. Approach might influence response, but ultimately I will react a certain way because of who I am. I didn't think I had an overall bad attitude, but I suspect I was not nearly as positive as I am now. Because now that I know no one determines my response, that I am free to be my highest self no matter what or who I deal with, I feel very free.
One thing I deal with is the potential for encounters to end badly. I suppose any situation could turn potentially negative, maybe even damaging or dangerous. Is this activity more risky than others. I don't think the answer is a clear-cut yes. Still, I take precautions. Since a client could potentially become something less than a friend, I decided to establish a screening system based on a systemic philosophy of dealing with rivals. I found appealing ideas in "The Art of War," an ancient Chinese classic that teaches lessons applicable to almost any situation. If I grow uncomfortable with the prospect of meeting a new person or allowing someone to return, for reasons well known to me, I do not go through with the assignation. There have been times that I have jumped the gun and prematurely cancelled a perfectly wonderful individual. When I believed I'd gotten it wrong, I gave the meeting another try, and shook my head at my own skittishness. But what else could I do? Unfortunately, sometimes caution and discretion, of necessity, trump reliabilty and predictability. If you are someone who thinks I may have gotten the wrong impression in my cheerful but flawed mind, please feel free to contact me again. Now that one and all know that there is always a method to my apparent madness.
Anyone have input about precautions? I'm always up for learning from people who know things I don't (everyone!
