We are engaged in a quasi-legal activity with risks to our lives, health, psyches, and wallets. There are a lot of bad actors out there. There is no truth in advertising agency to protect us. The forums (and reviews) are the only thing we have to help protect us. Whenever one of us has an encounter and reports it, it helps us. The report tells us if it is a rip off, a limited menu experience, a total or partial lie. Going out there and putting ourselves at risk (and reporting the event) is certainly TOFTT. I have seen numerous posts where people have expressed their opinions or speculations on various Backpage ads. I would prefer to have a report on real (risky) experiences so that I can avoid many of the mistakes I have made. A good experience can sometimes happen when you TOFTT. Not a crime! LG.

What you did was gamble and win. TOFTT is when you gamble and lose. Both are valuable experiences to report and that is the main contribution. Whether it is classified as TOFTT or not is much less important than the report itself and I apologize for not making it clear that I appreciated your report.
