As I said, I went up to the room, turned the corner, and there was just some dude leaning over the railing, looking out into the parking lot, with his back directly facing the door. I walked past him so as not to seem too suspicious, then made my way back to my car. I drove around so I could get a better vantage to see him, hoping that he was just there to have a smoke or something, but he never left. I saw him light up at least two cigarettes while he scrolled his phone and occasionally looked down into the parking lot. He never moved.
